Hi, I own a Clairl Big Shot hairdryer which my husband gave me 20 years ago as a birthday gift, this was the best gift ever. I have dropped it a couple of times, but it is still goinig, only the nossell has broken i suppose it can expected for the number of times it has been dropped. It also has an X long cord and i can move around in my room with it. The best hairdryer ever. RegardsDesiree

I have owned this hairdryer for about 12 years and it is still going strong. Not once has it been in for repair. It comes complete with a concentrator nossle and diffuser with 3 heat settings and 2 power settings. Additionally it has an extra long cable and useful hook. When purchased new it cost about £20 (quite expensive for the time) but considering the amount of use it equates to less than £2 per year. The heat setting button came off this year (my fault as it has been frequently dropped). However it is still possible to adjust the heat by using a pen head - it's been safe so far, but I don't recommend it! I don't know if Clairol still make this dryer (or any dryer) but if so it is strongly recommended.
