      Advantages

      Disadvantages

A great hair product, especially for those with thick or longer hair. Worth the extra cost.

Then this is the hairdryer for you.

Yes, it is expensive, costing more than the average hairdryer you can buy on the high street.

However - it has changed my life when it comes to styling my hair. I have really thick hair, and lots of it too. My old hairdryer used to take an age to dry my hair with, with the Parlux it takes around 5 mins, from shower wet hair to bone dry.

It does feel a little heavy at first, but it doesn't take long to get used to it and that's the trade off for having a more powerful hairdryer.

The three metre cable is excellent too, especially when you are using the product away from home. It comes with 2 nozzles, which I personally do not use myself but the inclusion of two is good, especially as these are the sort of things that can be lost!

I find that my hair is far less frizzy using the Parlux, and seems to hold it's shape for a longer period.

All in all, I would recommend this hairdryer 100%. Anyone with really thick hair will know how timely it can be dry and style it. This hairdryer will cut that time in half.

Great product and worth the extra cost.

A dryer that will never let you down

      Parlux 3200 Hair Dryer

Why Spend so much on a hairdryer? (approx £70)
I love this Hairdryer. I Have Long and thick hair that takes approx 30mins to dry and I need to wash it every other day, so if your like me you might have had a few hairdryers blow up on you in the past... I did. I used to spend around £20 on hairdryers and if I was lucky they would last me 6 months. So I purchased a Parlux 3200 in red. ... THIS WAS SIX YEARS AGO!!!! It still works today as good as the first day I got it.

      Whats so Special about it?
Nothing if I'm honest. it's a basic hairdryer. I would say, as it's a professional hairdryer it has a lot more power than a dryer you can pick up on the high street and it has a really handy long wire, which is great if you multi task like I do when Im drying my hair. I think in general its just more hard wearing.

      Features :
3 Speed settings, 3 Heat settings, Cool shot button, Long Wire. Its also compact and light. No tired arms for me!

      Colours :
Black, Silver, Pink, Purple and Red.
Red may have been discontinued. And they have made some Ltd edition ones too.
I think a Parlux would be a great Gift idea, however the packaging is so boring you might want to splash out on some nice wrapping paper :)

      Maintenance :
The round back / Filter should be unscrewed and wiped clean to ensure yours lasts as long as mine have.

The best hairdryer on the market bar none!

I first started using Parlux about 10 years ago when my mum introduced me to it, it used to only be available in specialist beauty supply shops but now it's available on the internet.

The Parlux models are also widely used in hairdressing salons which shows just how effective the results are. Using this brand you really can achieve that just stepped out of the salon look!

They are super powerful - the parlux 3200 is 1900 watts.
There are two speeds and four heats, plus a coldshot button.
A long 3m cable is useful but by far and away the best thing about this hairdryer is the nozzle design.

It comes with two nozzles, and the one I use is the one with the really thin gap - this allows you to direct the hairdryer downwards and smooths the hairshaft while you dry, resulting in a smoother sleeker look. I have curly hair that I dry straight and its fantastic for this. Recently I broke my dryer and whilst waiting for my new one to be delivered, I used an ordinary one - what a difference! I was so glad to have my Parlux back!

I have never seen such a nozzle on a hairdryer on the high street even in so called professional models, thats what makes the Parlux range so unique.

Before I discovered Parlux, I would either spend a fortune on different products in the hope of recreating a hairdressers look, or give up and go to the hairdressers!! Now thankfully for my wallet, no need!! I also find I no longer need to use hair straighteners which is much better for my split ends!

The only thing I would say is that it boasts a "new Revolutionary K Lamination motor which is lighter, more durable, and very powerful". All I'm sure true, but I have never found these hairdryers to be lightweight! That said, its a tiny price to pay for such a great product.

They come in a range of colours: Black,Pink,Red,Silver,Chocolate Brown and Purple and the cheapest I have found them for is on eBay at around 60 pounds for new.
