It's that time again where my hair dryer decides to give up and stop working so I have to try and find a new one. There are so many hair-dryers out there and lots of choices. I know some people aren't bothered about what hair dryer they have as long as it does the job. My last hair dryer was a Remington Pro Ionic dryer and I thought it was fantastic. It didn't leave my hair looking frizzy and dry and it looked healthy and shiny. I also swear by Remington straighteners as well. I find their products always reliable and of good quality.

***REMINGTON PRO IONIC ULTRA***
I chose this hair-dryer because it's a newer model from the one I was using before and there wasn't much other choice in Boots at the time, due to it being right after Christmas. Although this dryer wasn't on offer or reduced, this was the one I wanted so I decided to purchase it. The hair-dryer itself is very light and is a dark colour, mainly black but has a slight metallic colour to it as well. The hair dryer has the following features:

***USING THE DRYER***
I always normally use products such as volumising mousse or leave in conditioner in my hair. I tested this dryer on my hair when using products and drying my hair without using any products. The dryer is light to hold and the switches are easy to use as they are rocker switches. I use the top speed setting to dry my hair; how-ever if you have short hair the medium setting will probably dry your hair just as quick. I only use the medium heat setting as I don't like anything too hot on my hair incase of damage to the hair, plus I sometimes find it can get too hot. When you use the dryer you will notice the green light on the top of the dryer which is the Ionic LED indicator. There is a cool setting on the dryer which I use to set my finished hair style. On my old dryer when using the cool setting from the heat it used to take a while to cool, how-ever the cool air comes out straight away when flicking from the heat setting to the cool setting. The dryer has a low noise, which is great as I can still listen to my music when drying my hair. The concentrator nozzle and diffuser just clip onto the front with minimum effort and is easily removed after use.

***OVERALL OPINION***
After drying my hair, I did feel that it looked smooth and shiny and it definitely wasn't as frizzy as it was before. Although my last dryer was a Remington one as well, I notice this one has a lot more Ions which is probably why my hair has even less frizz than with using the old Remington dryer. I feel as though the dryer conditions my hair, as it felt very soft and looked healthy. The concentrator nozzle helped me to style my hair and the cool setting set my hair perfectly the way wanted it to. The diffuser is great for creating body and volume, especially when I want glam looking hair, out on the town. This dryer may be slightly pricier then other brands but it does a great job of drying hair for a frizz free and shiny finish. I have read 2 other reviews about this dryer and they have said that it left their hair frizzy, but personally I am very pleased with this product.
