I'm not sure how suited these colours are to razors because I heavily associated pastels with babies and young children. That said, the design of the razor makes it easy to use. It is all made entirely from plastic and has two metal blades set into the top of it, with a comfort strip above to alleviate irritation. I tend to either use shavi...more

Bic Twin Lady Sensitive Disposable Razors: Single lady (341 words)

I have used a wide range of disposable razors over the years with varying degrees of success. I tend to go for relatively cheap ones because I find the metal rusts over, or they get clogged up and I need to throw them away relatively frequently. These are a set of twin blade disposable razors from Bic which are meant to be sensitive to your skin. As any woman knows shaving rashes are fairly common and though I don't tend to get any irritation on my legs I often do on my underarms. I thought the sensitive aspect of these razors might help to alleviate that somewhat and that would be an added bonus. The razors come in different pastel shades ranging ...  Read the complete review

As I've mentioned before, us ladies are pressured by society into not looking like ugly hairy beasts, but to have silky smooth, luxurious legs (you've all seen the Venus adverts with Jennifer Lopez!) and we are told we can do it in a pain free way. I'll be honest, I hate shaving my legs and see it as a chore! I love the winter season when I can throw on a pair of tights and trousers and to the outside world they have no idea whats going on underneath these layers (well my partner slightly has an inkling but we will exclude him from this discussion) and so I'm happy as larry.  As it is now "summertime" I feel obliged to ensure they are kept slightly ...  Read the complete review

Bic Twin Lady Sensitive Disposable Razors: Good quality razors for a low price! (671 words)

' ------------- THE PRICE ------------- The price of these razors is very cheap, I have seen prices for these around £1.00 - £2.00, I picked mine up from Wilkinson's for around £1.15 for 5 of them, I know they are disposable so some of you may think it isn't that good value then, but I have seen packs of 3 razors which are also disposable for over 3 pound! I am also sure that you can buy packs of 10 instead of 5 for quite a cheap price too. ---------------------- THE APPEARANCE ---------------------- The ones which I have got do not come in a pack like above, they come in a dark hot pink coloured ...  Read the complete review

I personally have had a few razor emergency's before and ended up buying normal bic razors being the cheap nasty yellow ones for men and having bad experiences with them. I spotted the bic twin lady razors in our very small local chemist as their wasn't much choice i decided i needed them just to buy them however i really was happy with my purchase. Bic is an old household brand and my guess would be that everyone has at least once tried shaving with a bic razor. I even remember my much older brother and dad both shaving with bic razors and the very first time i tried shaving my legs was when i was only 12 it was with a bic razor cutting my legs to shreds, funny ...  Read the complete review

Bic Twin Lady Sensitive Disposable Razors: Not quite as painful as others.. (340 words)

The other week my trusty Venus broke and as my other half dissapeared off to the supermarket I yelled after him to pick me up some razors. I was half expecting him to bring me home his usual gillete disposables so was pleasantly suprised when he produced something that was atleast intended for us ladies (and such pretty colours as well!). Five twin bladed razors in the pack. To look at pretty standard disposable razors. Nice curved easy to grip handle. Good sized razor head. Very lightweight to hold. Now I should point out here that during the winter months my legs most certainly do not get shaved everyday (my husband is the only one who gets offended by ...  Read the complete review
