Advantages: Good for sensitive skin

Disadvantages: None

This sensitive shaving gel from Boots retails for £2.89 in my local Boots and it is a pretty good product which certainly reprseents good value for money. You get 200ml of hsaving gel for your money in a simple white and green can, it is certainly nothing fancy but it is an effective shaving gel that is kind to your skin.

It gets the sensitive tag because it contains Camomile and Vitamin E which are both stable ingredients in products that are classified for sensitive skin and that one certainly seems to be quite effective in this area. It lathers up very effectively and you should use it sparingly as you get a decent amount of coveridge from a relatively small amount and it is nice and creamy. The thickness means that you get a very comfortable shave when using this gel so long as you use a good quality blade, if the blade is no good then no matter how good the gel is you are going to have a painful experience.

It has a pleasant but subtle odour to it, slightly antiseptic in aroma and also creamy at the same time, either way it is not very strong or harsh. I do find that this gel helps prevent my skin drying out while I shave and my legs are left rather soft and nicely moisturised although obviously I still use a moisturiser after shaving anyway. It is certainly very good for sensitive skin.

Given the reasonable price this is a great shaving gel and one that I certainly recommend.
