Advantages: They meet at the end, cheap price
Disadvantages: None
I don't live in the biggest house in the world but despite having at least four pairs of tweezers, I can never find a pair when I need one. Due to this I went out and bought three sets, I have one in my handbag, one in my bathroom cabinet and one pair in the kitchen cutlery drawer. I keep one set there because if the others go missing, I can always bet on the set in the kitchen hasn't moved. I just have to remember to put them back after use.
I bought these from Boots due to accumulating numerous points on my advantage card so therefore technically getting them free. I pluck my own eyebrows as I am a wimp and couldn't go to a salon and have them done. I have had my brows threaded once and the pain was so bad, my eyes were watering, it looked like I was crying, it was horrific and the worse pain I have ever had (and I have had a baby with no pain relief!!) Needless to say to keep the caterpillars at bay, I need to know where my tweezers are at all times.
The packaging is really nothing to write home about; they come in a greyish plastic wrapper, which undoes at the bottom. There is a little information on the back and the Boots logo on the front, apart from telling you they are slanted tweezers that is about it. The tweezer end is held together with a circle of plastic and no matter how hard I try I cannot keep this on the tweezers for any length of time! The fact these are slanted makes tweezing eyebrows easier as the angle is better. The grip is nice and because these are not short and stubby, you can get precise movements from it, you do feel like you have control over the ends. The ends also meet as well, I have bought cheap tweezers before and it wasn't till I went to use them that I noticed the ends didn't meet up so were totally useless. These were not the cheapest I have found, at £1.99 they are a good price and because they work so well, it's a price I am happy to pay. I will no doubt have to pay it again should I lose any of my new pairs of tweezers.
Summary: Great set
