Advantages: Bag to save it in

Disadvantages: A big struggle

A girl needs to take care of oneself and keeping the old bikini line looking tip top is certainly a priority. I used to shave down there and end with a horrible shaving face that did not look sexy and made me itch. You certainly cannot go around itching your nether regions in public and for this reason I decided to hang up the razor and opt for a slim bikini trimmer that was designed specifically for this awkwardly positioned area. I bought the trimmer so I could style my bikini line and keep it trimmed and tamed, unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations.

==Price and availability==

This cost me £16.99 from Boots which I bought with my Advantage card points. I'm glad I did not have to part with my hard earned money as this is really over-priced.

==Description==

The slim trimmer comes with its own zipped bag that will accommodate all the bits including a cleaning brush to make sure the blades are working at their best, although a miracle would be the best bet. The machine is slim and light and easy to manipulate. The machine runs on 2 x AAA batteries which are probably not powerful enough to work the machine, hence my disappointing results. The construction of the device is flimsy and cheap, the casing felt like it would snap at any point. The device has a foil head and an adjustable guide. The device is operated with an on off switch and if you have used an electric shaver before you will not have any trouble getting to work this piece out.

==My experiences==

This product was really disappointing; it did not work as well as I had hoped at all. The foil head is pointless and when you change heads you have to be careful not to break them. The best results I had were without the guide but even then I found it did not cut very well. I wanted my hair to be even, I was not looking for close picture perfect shave at all but I did expect it to cut evenly and without leaving stray hairs. Unfortunately it did not manage to cut all the hairs and you have to spend time going back over. Not only does this take a long time to use but the batteries lasted for three uses. After the batteries died I did not even bother replacing them and this machine is redundant, sat in the zipped bag in my bedroom.

I think I was expecting too much from the machine but I kept thinking about the amount of money it cost! A Boots own brand should not cost that much in the first place but it just goes to show that you should probably go for one of the more well known brands.

Summary: Not worth it
