I brought this after stumbling across it when investigating threading online and I am glad I did.
This hair remover works on the same principles as threading. It uses a metal coil to trap the hairs and pull them out at the root. It doesn't use any chemicals and there is no mess to clear up afterwards. If you notice a few stray hairs while you're out you can easily nip to the loo have do a quick touch up in a couple of minutes. The design of it is quite subtle and doesn't scream hair remover.
To use you bend the device into a U shape and roll in over your skin. It took me a couple of minutes to get the knack but once you have it is very easy. The coil traps the hair and pulls it out - you can see them when you hold it up to the light. It does sting slightly, especially on the upper lip but it far less painful then waxing.
I find that while it picks up the vast majority of hairs there are normally a few it misses which I have to whip out with tweezers.
A word of warning - if you have long hair then tie it back or at least keep it away from your face or you can end of ripping it out and it's really painful. Also don't attempt to use it on your eyebrows. I will rip your eyelashes out.
All in all I would say this is the best method of facial hair removing I have tried. It costs about £10 and you need to buy a new one around every 6 months which is far cheaper then going to the salon or even buying home wax kits. It's far less time consuming than tweezing and just as easy once you have the knack.
I first came across Epicare when someone suggested that it was a good alternitive to the usual hair remover and so I thought I would have to give it a go and see what it was all about. So searching the internet to see where I could buy it from I was not having much luck. Then I came across a shop on Ebay that was selling them so I bought one.
The epicare itself does not use thread but it is similar to the treading that you can get done. Threading is where a cotton thread is rolled over the face to remove the hair. However this does not use thread instead its a spring.
So I receive it in the post, it comes in a small black sleeve and it easily pulls out of the packet. Inside is the epicare with full intructions on how to use it. On first looking at it to me it looks like a spring with two blue ends on it to hold it. I'm thinking is this spring really going to work. The ends that are blue on mine do come in different colours.
I take it to my face and copy the insructions by making it a U shape with bending the ends downwards and then begin to roll it. It really hurt it was like pulling loads of hair out at the same time. I had a break before I tried it again as the first time was quite painfull.
The more you use it i tend to find that I dont notice it hurting as much as in the beginning. The good thing about it is that it does not use any chemicles and its quick and easy to use. You can use it while your sitting watching television. Its easy to clean as the ends pull off easily and then its just a matter of stretching the spring to empty it. One thing you have to be watch is that it does not go near the eyes as it can rip eyelashes out as its that good.
I find that it does remove the hair that I wanted removing and that it grows back more finer. Now I dont know what I did without it. In the instructions it does recommend on changing it every six months for health reasons.
Theres no mess and it does hurt but its worth putting up with it for a few minutes. The cost is about £10 and it can be bought off the internet. I'm not sure if it's available in the shops but it would be good if they did sell it as its such a great item. If you are looking for a quick easy face hair remover then give it a try.
When I heard about this product I thought this was an amazing product you can do it all by yourself at home and its quick. Its supposed to last for six months and it was cheap so I bought it.
The thing with this product is that its really hard to use and you pull some hairs out by thier roots and others are just ripped off so you need to get into the nack of using this properly before all your hair comes out of their roots.
Another problem is that you can only use it on your face, I wanted to use it on other places but its unsafe so its not a product to buy if you want to use in other places.
The real big problem with this product is that it gives you scars so you need to have a cream ready so that scars don't appear on the skin. I would really say buy this product if your having difficulties and it does work once you get used to it but it does take time and effort.
This is not a pain free product it does hurt imensely the first time you use it but you do get used to it after about 3 times of using it.
Now if you have hair growing in a place you don't want it to grow, you want to get rid of it. You don't want to encourage the hair to grow more, and you want it to be easy and quick and painless.
Now ten years ago, someone would have told you to get a razor and shave. It works but do you really want to promote hair growth. Someone would say to you to use a electric shaver then but they're even worse, i used it and my hair problem got worse - i had more hair growing in this place which i won't mention! Someone said a tweezer, but i just can't pluck the courage and how long does that take, and i dont have great sight so i need something that's easy and tweezers are bloody painful.
So browsing on the internet, i found this. A new way to get rid of hair - mainly used by females for the facial hair removal problems some have. For me, it was a totally different thing but it still works!
Now this is a stick which is bendy, that's all it is. But in the middle it has a metal type thing that's like the drain and extension on your shower. There are holes in it just like the tap and the hair traps in there. It's not a electrical device or anything, no batteries or nothing it's just a stick that you bend and then rub on your face and then see the results
1. Buy epicare from chemist, superstore or supermarket. First time just buy one just incase you dont like it.
2. Get it out. Then bend it in a U like shape
3. the U shape - rub that on the place where you have a hair growth problem. It might hurt but as you rub it the way the metal is structured it will trap/pull the hairs
4. You can clean it after, you'll see all the hair it took out as well. One normally lasts around 6 months although if you're careful it can last longer :)
It works, and it was easy and i like the bendiness of the stick things you get. They're not expensive, they're reusable and also you see the hair it took out.
They work and they're best for getting of hair that is small and thin, not easy to see. It's simple to use - just bend and rub along your skin where the hair is. Make sure you aim in the direction to the opposite of the hair growth. I feel also it decreased the hair growth, it won't get rid of completely but it reduces it - maybe this might be psychological but definitely feel less hair there than before.
It works is the overall opinion, it got rid of the hair and it got rid of the teeny weeny hairs that you cant see especially if your sight is no so good. It's easy and simple and took me less time than the tweezer as well. It is painful though i must warn you, so suck it up and get using it - for the low low price of £2.99 which is what mine cost you can't go wrong. It hurts but it works.
Heres a Youtube video i saw of someone using it
Epicare Facial Hair remover is simply MAGIC!! This is a sleek little thing that is available for under a tenner. It is available online (google EPICARE) for £9.99. The cheapest one that I have managed to find is on an Ebay store for £6.99! Bargain! However, these guys run out of stock so quickly that you have to wait weeks before you can lay your hands on one.
Epicare is nothing but a slim piece of spring with rubber handles on both sides for good grip. No smelly creams, no targetted approach, and above all, NO PAIN!! All you have to do is bend the spring in a U shape, and hold it closely against your skin and move them in a circular motion. That's it, you're done! You can use this sitting in front of the tele, or listening to music, or whatever. You will not need to stare into a mirror for ages.
It does a very neat and clean job and the pain is non existent. The pain can be quite a bit if you skin is very tender (especially after a scrub). Try and avoid this.
The product also lasts ages. I have now had this for over 9 months and still have not had to replace mine. It comes with a very good guide on how to use it, so no worries on that.
Note: Do not use near the eyebrows as this is not recommended.
Overall, great product and a must try for all women!
