... poorly made which is disappointing as gillette is normally a reputable brand. The razors themselves weren't much better originally all held together it another thin bit of plastic which seemed to be becoming a trait with this product, they were the same dull, ugly blue from the packaging with ridges all along the handle and were extremely lightweight and flimsy I found them quite difficult to grip and uncomfortable as the handle was so small, they held two small blades with a tiny little purple strip across. Now the mom...more

Gillette Agilite: Cheap, cheerful and smooth! (437 words)

Razors are something I don't enjoy having to spend money on, I find some of them to be ridiculously priced and really bad value for money. I've used Gillette Agilite razors many times now, as they are regularly on offer. They usually cost in the region of £3 for a pack of 8, but I bought some a month or two ago from Tesco which were buy 1 get 1 free, meaning I got much more for my money! The razors come in a plastic wrapper, which is easy to open. The razors are clipped into a plastic holder withint the wrapper - I usually take mine out for easier storage in the bathroom, but keeping them in would be useful if you had the space. The razors are ...  Read the complete review

Gillettte Agilite Razors (325 words)

I usually buy throw away razors as they are cheaper then spending £6.00 on new blades. I spotted these in Asda and they where on special offer for a whopping £1.00. They are made by gillette and you get 4 razors ina pack. The packaging is slightly different from the one above. It still has the sillioete of the lady but the colouring is more of a pale blue and the graphics have been swaped about abit. Why do companys do this? is it to confuse us. I know that a change of packaging and style can increase the sales of a product but suttle changes like this, will only cost the company money. The razor itself is pale green with a purple strip on the ...  Read the complete review

Gillette Agilite: Do You Want Any Skin Left ?!?! (902 words)

A few months ago I was asked to take a part in a testing trial for one of the sites I'm a member of, this involved receiving a pack of disposable razors, using them for the required time and then leaving feedback about them. These razors I was given the oppurtunity to test were Gilette Agilite. I was sent a packet of 4 disposable razors. The packet has a similar design to the picture above with the silhouette of a curvacious lady and an elegant swirl whirling along the packet - it is just the background colour which differs rather than it being silver it is white and the swirl is green with the silhouette being a shiny silver. The writing which says Gillette ...  Read the complete review

Agilite has the ability to cut you to ribbons (725 words)

I recently did an online survey on hair removal and was given the opportunity to test the Gillette Agilite razors as part of this survey. As I am a sucker for getting something for nothing, I was delighted. The razors come in a pack of 4, and are overpackaged in a bag (which is fine), sitting on a clear plastic "holder" - which is excessive and unnecessary. Now at this juncture I should point out that I tend to only use razors for my armpits or occasionally on my legs if I am in a hurry. I far prefer to epilate my legs (takes longer but the regrowth is slower) however having been given these razors for nothing, the deal is I have to ...  Read the complete review

Gillette Agilite: A cheese grater would of done a better job. (486 words)

Introduction~~~~~~ My mam one day goes to the shop and asks me the classic "do you need anything while I'm out?" to which I stupidly reply yes pick me up some razors please. It was then she came back with these which I believe cost about £2.00 for a pack of 6 or so, she didn't reveal where she actually get them from and without looking ungrateful I thanked her and tentatively took them to the bathroom. The Packaging/Product:~~~~~~ The razors came in a rather bland looking blue plastic package with Gillette across the front and a clear bit to see the razors that was rather thin and easily torn, I could hardly call them eye-catching and to ...  Read the complete review
