I don't know about you ladies but I can't be doing with waxing and using an epilator, been there done that and it all hurts like hell! I've tried the hair removal creams and cos I've shaved my legs every day since I was about 15 (I know I shouldn't have now!) I find cream doesn't remove the hair as it's so strong and stubborn and besides that all the above methods make me sore so I stick with a good old razor and soap or shower gel. However I'm clumsy and I tend to cut myself weekly so when I saw this on offer in my local chemist for 99p I thought I'd give it a shot hoping for not only less marks but soft, silky pins to boot! The Packaging.... 200ml ... Read the complete review

Used to be a waxer myself......that was until the hairs on my legs started ingrowing...ugh, not an experience I wanted to repeat. Apparently repeated waxing weakens the hairs so much that they no longer have the strength to grow through the skin :( Time to find something different. I'd tried creams, they just smell disgusting and are *so* messy to use........didn't want to go back to that, so I thought I'd give the new and highly advertised Gillette for Women razors and shaving foam a go. I'm impressed. People had put me off shaving in the past, but really, this is SO easy. The foam (I use the sensitive one) is genuinely moisturising and ... Read the complete review

I usually always stick to buying Tesco own shave gel as to be totally frank it is usually the cheapest of female shave gels/foams available, and I have never had any bother with it. Tesco is my nearest supermarket and therefore where I do the vast majority of my shopping, however a few months ago I visited the Asda store which is in a nearby town to do my weekly shop just for a change, and I noticed that Asda at that time had this Gillete Satin Care Sensitive Skin Shave Gel on offer at the time for £1, which was cheaper than the Tesco own variety, and so I happily picked up a canister. This satin care shave gel usually costs around the £2 in many supermarkets, and so . Read the complete review

I recently got some of this to use with a dual epilator (a hair removal gadget that plucks as well as shaves) as I was advised to use the gel to make the gadget slide over my skin more easily and also to soothe my skin afterwards. I have always just used soapy foam to shave and at first I thought that the makers of the epilator (the shaving technology on the epilator is invented and made by Gillette) were simply trying to promote the gel. However, I have trialled both this shave gel and soap with the epilator and have to say that I now realise that a gel of this sort is essential if you have an epilator. I have also started using this gel when just regaular shaving as I . Read the complete review

I've been epilating for the last few years but when my epilator broke I couldn't really afford to replace it, so I went back to shaving instead. I started off just using shower gel or conditioner to shave with as suggested by my mum, but it wasn't giving the results I wanted so I decided to try this shave gel. It costs around £3 for a 200ml can. The can looks really good and is a tall cylindar with a pull off lid. It has a press top dispenser which squirts the gel out with some force form the pressurised container. It's really easy to use but the first time I used it I ended up with way too much gel because you really only need to press it a little bit to get ... Read the complete review
