Its only over the last couple of years that I have started using shaving gel and Gillette is always a brand that I like to use.
===Price & Availability===
The gel retails for around £3.50 for a 250ml aerosol can and there are also 75ml cans available for around £1.50 which I tend to use when I go away so it takes up less room in my bag. The brand is quite often on offer and I will normally stock up when this is the case, sometimes, I can pick up a large can for less than £2. The gel is widely available from supermarkets, chemists and discount stores such as Home Bargains, Poundstretcher etc.
What fist caught my eye about the gel was the colour of the canister, it is bright orange with an image of an apricot to the front. The gel is really thick and although starts off bright orange, as I rub into my skin, the gel gets a little paler in colour.
Using the gel is really easy, just give the can a good shake, dispense and then rub into the area you wish to shave and then I am ready to go. I really like that it seems to expand too so a little really does go a long way. By far, my favourite aspect of the gel is the fragrance, it has a lovely fruity apricot smell to it which seems to linger in my bathroom for a good few hours, my legs also smell great too.
Once I have rinsed, my legs feel wonderfully soft, smooth and moisturised, so much so that sometimes I don’t need to apply my regular moisturiser. Since using this gel, I have never cut my legs and when it comes to shaving, I find that using the shaving gel definitely seems to give me a closer shave; normally my legs can start to feel a little stubbly by the end of the day whereas I can always tell a difference from when I use gel. I apply quite a thin layer and this means that I find that a 250ml can lasts me several weeks and I use it on a daily basis.
Overall, I would definitely recommend and this gets 5 out of 5 stars from me.
Thanks for reading.
I've recently started buying disposable razor blades instead of my Venus I used to use. One thing I've noticed I've needed to buy alongside disposable razor blades is shaving gel. I never used to use it with my Venus as they shaved well without the need for it. The first shaving gel I purchased was from the Gillette satin care range.
The apricot shaving gel is quite readily available from supermarkets and places like Superdrug. I bought mine on sale from my local Superdrug, I think full price it was around the £3 mark for a 200ml can, but it was half price when I bought it.
The gel comes inside a can with the normal Gillette satin care packaging being mainly white in colour with orange and pink detailing signifying the apricot fragrance of the product. After removing the lid you are met with a push down button that releases some of the gel out of the hole. After pressing the button the gel comes out very easy and you need to make sure you are ready for it to come out as it does seem to fly out quite quickly.
The gel comes out in an off yellow colour and the smell of apricots is apparent as soon as it comes out of the can. I only need a little bit of gel as it is extremely easy to lather up into a cream, I only use a small grape sized blob of gel on each leg so a 200ml can does last a long time. The cream has quite a thick consistency no matter how much of the gel I use and the more I lather it the more the fruity smell comes through. When shaving my legs I do like to take my time and I guess that's a good thing as the thick foam does tend to clog up my razors quite quickly due to its thick texture, it's not really a huge problem as the product works so well. I have never experiences any type of snagging or cuts when using this shaving gel so the foam does a great job at protecting legs.
Once I've finished the shaving process, I feel like the shaving gel has left my legs moisturised. I hate that dry feeling you get with shaving your legs sometimes and find myself applying body lotion to get them nice and moist again but with this product I feel like I don't have to use anything if I didn't want to as they do feel quite moisturised.
I'd definitely recommend this apricot shaving gel from the Gillette satin care range. A can seems to last a lifetime as a little goes a very long way, it stops legs getting cut and smells lovely. The only thing I find is that I really need to take quite a long time shaving as it clogs my razor up quite quickly.
I cannot shave my legs without a good gel to smooth on first. I find that without a gel they just don't get as smooth! I haven't got a particular brand that I love, I do usually go for the cheaper brands but this is one of my favourites when I have a bit of money to spare.
Cheap shaving products (even razors) can be hard to find in good quality. Tesco are often quite good and I shall be reviewing them soon. This product is one that a friend recommended to me on holiday, I used it once and I am now addicted - maybe something to do with my legs being tanned at the time!
The gel is often on offer in supermarkets and I managed to pick mine up for £1 in Wilkinsons. The gel is named 'Satin Care Radiant Apricot'. The can is 250ml and is pink and orange so very girly. I love the design as it looks fairly retro and gorgeous. All ingredients and information about use are written on the back.
On my first use, I was very excited to try the product. On holiday I shaved my legs every day so I wasn't positive it was going to work on my new winter grizzly bear look (who cares about legs when they're covered up all winter!). After squirting a little gel onto my hand, I proceeded to smooth it all over one of my legs. The product lathers up really well and smooths which means it doesn't just fall off your legs like normal shower gel would. I like that only a small blob of gel seems to cover a whole leg - long lasting can it is!
When it comes to fragrance, Gilette got this one right. It is so fruity and it smells gorgeous! The scent lasted for a while on my legs but I did smother them in moisturiser the next morning so it got a bit fainter.
I found that afterwards my legs looked perfect. I usually need to patch myself up a little after shaving as I use disposable razors which can be deadly! Although, after using this product my legs were smooth as ever and cut free - would of been amazing if it was hot enough for shorts! My stubble normally re-appears to an irritating length within a week but for some strange reason I have now been hair free for two weeks (the only stubble I have is faint and light).
If this product is on offer I would definitely recommend - although at its usual retail price of £2.75 I think it is a little steep. I stocked myself up with 4 cans now and I hope by the time they run out I will have another to try out
I try to stick to waxing my legs so they will stay hair free longer but more often than not I will give in and reach for my trusty old razor (that's trusty and not rusty). My legs can be quite sensitive when shaving them and I do end up suffering with a slightly uncomfortable rash so using the right kind of lubricant is essential.
My husband uses baby oil on his beard as he says this not only gives him a smooth shave but moisturises his skin at the same time, but I find it far too messy on my legs so try to stick to using creams or gels. I do like Gillette, but find their prices can be steep so I tend to just stick to shops own brands which give reasonable results. When I saw a travel size of this Satin Care in the delicious sounding Radiant Apricot fragrance at just 90p recently I hastily bought a can (or two..).
*Although this is available in the *regular* size of a 200ml can, the one I have is the smaller sized 75ml but it's worth mentioning that they are identical in every way apart from the size difference.
Satin Care is part of the vast array of creams and gels that Gillette have on offer for 'defuzzing' and this particular one is gel based. I do prefer the gel varieties as they seem less messier on application, and the gel does tend to turn creamy once applied anyway.
The packaging for this is in the usual fare; an upright standing tin with access via a pressurised nozzle. The can is decorated with feminine colours of pinks and orange and is certainly eye catching so does stand out on the shelves. The gel itself is quite thin in consistency and as expected has a gel like texture to it before turning into a white mass of foam. The colour is how you would imagine it to be with a name like radiant apricot and is a lovely pale orange when squeezed from the can.
My experience of using this~
I have used this several times since buying it and on each occasion have been impressed with it's results. To say this is only a 75ml size that I am reviewing, I have used quite a lot on each application yet there is still plenty remaining in the can so if I were to buy the regular size of 200ml then it would certainly work out economical - for me anyway.
The gel is very easy to use as once the obvious thing of removing the plastic led is removed, then you simply need to press the nozzle down and place your hand underneath to catch the contents. As this is a pressurised can as mentioned only a small press on the nozzle is required as the gel does come out rather quickly so be warned!
You can't really tell what the fragrance is like until it's actually been dispensed but once it has it is delicious. Though there is obviously an apricot based fragrance here it's also very zesty and has a real orange/ nectarine scent as well so smells lovely when using.
A small 10p sized blob seems enough to cover one entire leg ready for shaving as the gel quickly turns into a foam when applied to wet skin. What I like about this is although it does turn 'foamy' it still retains that gel consistency throughout and doesn't become runny - something that I find happens with shaving creams when I have used them in the past.
My razor glides over the skin and leaves my legs feeling very smooth to the touch when I use this so it definitely does the job. It rinses away with ease and doesn't leave any sticky residue, just soft skin.
This is a lovely fragranced gel that makes light work of the chore that is shaving and makes it an almost pleasurable experience. The gel doesn't dry out my skin, and if anything leaves it feeling silky soft and moisturised plus the shaving rash is reduced significantly when I use this.
The RRP on the 200ml is around the £2 to £3 mark from what I've seen and after my experience of using the travel size I will definitely buy the bigger size as I have been very impressed with the results.
I purchased Gillette Satin Care Radiant Apricot Shaving Gel for the first time last month. I purchased the shaving gel from Poundland at the bargain cost of £1 for a 75ml can of this shaving gel. I have seen this shaving gel for sale in Boots and Superdrug for the cost of £3.22 for 200mls, hence £1 for 75mls was quite a bargain. The 75ml size is also a very handy size to take on holiday.
The product is a shaving gel for all skin types. The shaving gel comes in a can type pack. The can has a nosel at the top of the product to disperse the shaving foam and a plastic lid to protect the nosel from getting damaged. The shaving gel can has the name of the product on the front of the can and directions for use and a list of ingredients at the back of the can. The can can be recycled after use. The can has a rust proof bottom so it does not rust when it comes into contact with water.
I have normal type skin but shaving can be a nightmare for me and most of the time shaving leaves my skin red and very sore. I could never ever attempt shaving without a shaving gel, it would be a nightmare result. My usual shaving gel is Tesco own brand. The Tesco choice was basically down to price and performance. The price is around £1.90 for a 200ml can and I was happy with both the price and the performance of the shaving gel.
The Gillette Shaving Gel contains 75mls of the shaving gel. The gel is really easy to disperse from the can. I disperse it into the plastic lid of the can, I always do this with shaving gel as if you try to disperse it in to your hand or on to where you are going to shave you always disperse too much product and it's just a waste. If you disperse some of the product into the lid you can then just scoop out the amount you need. This saves a lot of waste and money.
When you disperse the shaving gel it is very light orange in colour. It smells exactly as the name of this shaving gel states, it smells of apricot through and through and can smell no other scent apart from apricot. If you don't like the smell of apricots then you are going to have a problem with this shaving gel. I like the scent of the gel, it is a strong apricot scent but also the apricot scent makes this gel smell very fresh and very fruity. It is not a sickly smell and the scent only lasts on your skin until you rinse the gel away.
Once you disperse the gel it stays in the form of a thick gel but as you rub it into you skin it turns to dense foam. The foam is quite heavy and stays put on your skin. A little of this gel goes a long way, this is why I always disperse it into the lid first.
The gel works well and makes shaving is a good experience. My razor glides easily over my skin and I have no cuts of nicks after shaving. The gel provides no moisture to your skin at all, really it just lubricates your skin effectively so that it is much easier to shave. The gel takes quite a bit of rinsing off and it leaves a sticky mess in the bottom of the bath/shower. If you stand on the gel then you will find it to be very slippy so for this reason caution needs to be taken.
This product works well, it makes shaving much easier and much more comfortable. I think it smells really nice and even this small size 75ml can lasts for ages, a little really does go a long way. The gel is infused with apricot oil and this helps your razor glide over the gel and makes shaving really smooth and completely painless.
All in all this shaving gel is a very good product. At the full cost of £3.22 for a full size 200ml can it is expensive. It smells fantastic, much better than my usual Tesco Shaving Gel, I would say it was nicer to use than my usual brand but in all honesty it did not perform any better.
In saying that tomorrow I will visit Poundland to buy 3 or 4 more of these shaving gels, as I said before it's a real pleasure to use and I love the scent. Nice to use on holiday and even if you are not on holiday the scent will remind you of summer!
==Gillette Satin Care Shaving Gel - Apricot==
Having reverted back to my razor blade from the banished to the drawer epilatior, I tend to buy shaving gel/foam to go along with using the razor. I shouldn't have to really as my Gillette razor blade claims to be a 2 in 1 and you don't need shaving gel but I like to have a nice thick layer of a foam n my legs to give them that extra bit of protection.
It seems I have had this particular can of Gillette Shaving Gel for ages as a little bit of the gel squirted out seems to froth up to a large amount which means a little goes a long way and a 200ml can does indeed last for ages. I paid around £3.50p for this good sized can from Boots. I am more than sure that you can buy it cheaper elsewhere especially from online if you are that bothered about getting the best deal. Compared to others this is a little high in price but you are really paying for the quality and the brand name. When you compare it to Tesco value shaving foam which is around 40p for a 200ml can it is a fair bit higher in price. Of course Tesco Value foam doesn't smell as good, last as long or have a nice looking can but it does still do the job.
Anyway this Gillette apricot shaving gel is very simple to use and has a wonderful smell which seems to fill up the bathroom. You always should give the can a really good shake before squirting any from the it and getting the product out is very simple by depressing the top of the can. Like I said a little does seem to go a long way so about the size of a 50p piece of the gel seems to work out just right for me to apply to my whole leg and get good coverage. Once the gel is out of the can, you can really smell the fruitiness of the aroma and on rubbing the gel type product on to the skin it soon begins to lather up into a foamy type product. It is thick and luxurious but after rubbing does loose the orange tinge that it had as a gel.
Using this gel with my Gillette razor seems to make the whole experience of shaving my legs a good one (even though its a right pain to do all the time). The razor is able to glide over the foam applied to my skin and removed it and the hairy bits with total ease. It takes a fair while to shave my legs to a good standard but when I have used this Gillette satin Care gel it leaves my legs feeling very smooth indeed, some would say, silky smooth! They also seem to hold the aroma of the peaches, nectarines and apricots that are contained within this gel which also lingers around my bathroom for a good while after using. The smell can seem to be quite overpowering after a while as the fruitiness is really noticeable and strong.
All in all though it has to be said that this is a good product that does what it claims to do in that you get silk soft legs when using it along side a Gillette razor blade. The smell is nice and very fruity if not a little too strong by the time I finish my legs but the results of using the product seem to be worth the smell. The product is simple to use and also the cost maybe a lot higher than the cheaper brands, the whole can does indeed last a very long time and a little bit of the product does go a long way. It is a nice feminine shaving gel/foam that I do like to use and will be using again (although I may change scents).
It has got to be a good score of 4 out of 5 stars and really the only minus mark being because the smell is a little too strong and the price is a little too high! Other than that a highly recommended product!
I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you.
Many thanks for taking the time to read.
I must admit that about 90% of the time I shave my legs and underarms using whatever shower gel, body wash or even bar of soap that I have on the go at the time. I do occasionally buy shaving gel though, and favour Bic Soleil for its incredibly yummy smell. As I'm now trying to save a few pennies, my last purchase was made in discount store Bodycare, where the limited choice ran to three types of Gilette gel. After a quick look at all three cans, I decided on the apricot, simply as I thought it would smell better than the other two varieties on offer.
The can this is presented in differs from the picture provided, which I assume to be a previous design. The one I have is tall and slim, with a peach toned can which is in keeping with the apricot theme, and a white lid, which is slightly rounded in shape. There is also a picture of an apricot just for good measure.
The nozzle is wide and easy to press and I haven't experienced any issues with it clogging up. The can itself is metal and the button on the nozzle is plastic, but as it is slightly ridged in design, it doesn't cause issues when using with wet hands.
~About the gel~
The gel is one of several Gillette make, including lavender, avocado, sensitive and dry skin. It claims that this contains apricot oil, which is good for dry and sensitive skin, and will according to the bottle, give your skin a natural glow.
When I got this home and read the back of the can, I was surprised to see that this product is infused with the scent of nectarines and peaches. This seemed a little unusual to me since it's marketed as an apricot product, but I actually really like the scent of both nectarine and peach so I wasn't too disappointed!
When dispensed the gel is a cloudy peach colour, and it does come out as a gel rather than a foam. To produce the foam I simply rub it between my palms, and a rather dense white foam emerges.
I also notice the scent of the gel as soon as I dispense it, and the main aroma is peach rather than nectarine or apricot. Unfortunately there is a slightly chemical undertone to the fragrance, which is a shame, and although it's nowhere near as nice smelling as my preferred Bic Soleil, the smell is simply OK and it won't stop me from using it!
When the gel is rubbed onto the legs or underarms, it actually feels very luxurious against the skin. It glides on and feels silky smooth, and the foam stays dense and doesn't disappear as you spread it out.
I do find that it makes the whole shaving process easier, and there is a positive difference when using this in comparison to shower gels. I find my razor glides through the foam easily and smoothly, and it seems to minimize the chances of nicks or cuts. I also find that the foam rinses easily out of the razor, as some have a tendency to clog the razor up, meaning I need two disposable razors to do my legs whereas one would normally have done.
After using this the skin on my legs always feels soft and smooth, and I don't find that the product is drying and nor does it aggravate the dry patches I already have. I'm not quite sure it produces the natural glow claimed, but my skin doesn't look bad in any way either after using this.
~Price and Availability~
I bought this from Bodycare, which is a discount chain, and I paid £1.99 for a 200ml can. As only a very small amount of gel produces a large amount of foam, this is a product that will last well.
As with all products prices vary depending on where you shop, but having a little look around I have found that both Boots and Superdrug charge £3.22 a can, whilst Waitrose charge £2.54, so it pays to shop around.
On the whole I am quite pleased with this gel. It works well, and is good value for money - at least it is at the price I paid for it! The only downside for me is the unusual chemical scent that mingles with the scent of peaches, which spoils the experience a little bit. Other than that, I can't really complain, and if I find them at a good enough price I will be happy to try some of the other varieties Gillette have to offer.
I only really buy shaving gels once in a while (usually when I can pick them up on an offer) as I see them as a luxury item, generally making do with my usual shower gel when shaving. I picked up this radiant apricot variety of shave gel from the Gillette satin care range for a little over £1 on offer (usual price around £2.50) as a treat for myself and wasn't disappointed.
Gillette is probably the brand that people would associate with shaving most, so I had high expectations for this product. The gel came in a pressurised metal can which had pink and orange swirled all over, it looked vibrant and attractive. The white plastic lid is removed to reveal the applicator nozzle which can be depressed to release the gel.
The gel is aimed specifically at women and contains apricot oil which is vitamin-rich to care for the skin on your legs. The gel itself is a pinky colour and, when squirted, smells strongly of apricot and really fruity.
The gel can be applied to wet skin in the bath or shower. On contact with water, this produces a lovely thick, white foam that can cover quite a lot of skin. You need to be careful of the amount of water that you mix this with however as, too little water and a really thick, sticky foam forms that is hard to spread forms. Too much water and the gel just slips off your legs rather than foams. Only a small amount of the gel is required as it foams so well, I find that a blob the size of a 10p piece adequately covers my leg.
The gel allows the razor to glide really easily over the skin. Even in tricky areas like ankles and knees, the razor is given extra glide which helps to prevent nicks. After the bath, my legs felt really smooth and I felt that it had given a close shave. My skin also felt really smooth and soft - the moisturising oils had obviously done their job. I was disappointed that none of the lovely fruity apricot scent had lasted after my bath, but this is a shaving product rather than a soap of shower gel so this is to be expected. The skin on my legs can be quite sensitive but this gel did not cause any adverse reaction or rash, so it seemed gentle on my skin. My legs felt so moisturised that I was able to use a light body lotion on them afterwards rather than a more intensive body butter like I would usually use.
This is a lovely fruity shave gel that produces excellent foam and lasts for ages. It improves the shaving experience and is a pleasure to use, being very gentle and moisturising on my skin. I would definitely purchase this again if I saw it on a good offer.
As well as producing fantastic shaving products for men, Gillette also provide a ladies range called Gillette for Women. This range includes various types of razors and blades and shaving gel/foam.
This is the Gillette Satin Care Shave Gel which is scented with Radiant Apricot. The Satin Care range contains silk for smooth legs. The shave gel is a rich formula which is blended with apricot oil.
The shave gel comes in a tall, pressurised metal can with a white, plastic lid. Underneath the lid, there is a plastic head with a small dispenser hole. There is a fairly large ridged button which when gentle pressed, will released the gel.
The can itself is bright and girly and mixes fuschia pink with outrageous orange colours for the main part of the can. The front details the brand and product name and a little peach image. The back of the can has some information about the gel and warnings in 4 different languages. The ingredients are also listed here and Gillettes contact address is noted.
The gel comes out in quite a thin consistency which is very orange. It quickly turns to a pale and creamy mousse like consistency which is soft and spreads with ease. A small amount is all that is needed unless you want to get in alot of mess!
The gel is infused with a blend of peaches and nectarine and also contains apricot oil. The gel is quite strong on application and lets off a fruity yet sweet aroma which fills the bathroom nicely.
Give the can a shake, press the button and dispense directly onto the area being shaved or onto your hand. Smooth over the area until covered in an even layer and proceed to shave. Gillette recommend using this gel with their Venus Vibrance razor.
*Availability and Price*
Gillette Shave Gel is available from the likes of Boots, Superdrug and supermarkets.
200ml is currently on offer in Boots for £1.49 but is normally £2.99.
Asda offers this at £1.50 normal price which is a saving compared to Boots.
Shaving my legs and underarms is certainly not something I particularly enjoy and avoid it where possible! Gillette is a well know and trust brand and one that my fiance reguarly uses. I usually opt for the Intutition Razor as it combines the razor and gel in one and is therefore less mess and less effort on my lazy part! Having misplaced my razor, I decided to hunt in my beauty box and spotted a can of Satin Care which I had bought in Superdrug a few months ago.
I love the can..it is so pretty and very feminine which is appealing to me. The button at the top is very easy to press though from experience, please do not press to hard as I did yesterday and splatted have the gel down the side of the bath, toilet etc!
I prefer to use this before I go in for my bath or after as I hate the mess it makes in my bath and with hairs etc it is not pleasant cleaning it. I dampen my legs with a wet sponge and smooth a small amount onto my legs. The gel feels smooth on impact and soon turns to a creamy, lathering mousse which is extremely soft.
The scent is extremely fruity so can be quite sickly if you do dispense too much. We live in a tower so therefore have no window in our bathroom and the scent does linger. After leaving the bathroom though, it is filled with a delightful aroma.
I use a disposable Boots razor and it glided effortlessly through the gel. To clean the razor, I simply run it under water from my sink and the hair and gel goes down the plughole. After I am finished, I pat dry my legs or jump in the bath to get washed. My legs are left smooth and soft. The scent once settled, provides a long lasting fruity experience that is very enjoyable.
Overall I am extremely impressed with this Gillette edition as it works how it supposed to, is attractive in my bathroom, is reasonable priced and provides soft and gently scented skin. The only downside is the messiness but that might be my own fault lol!
Thanks for reading
So I love the smell and the feel of it but it irritates my skin so I can not really use it unless I want itchy skin afterwards which is a real shame as this gel is amazing!
I first tried this one because the bottle stood out being pink and orange it grabbed my attension and said buy me! So I did and was impressed.
The gel foams up nicely and spreads very well you do not need to apply alot but yet it goes such a long way! The gel is a pinky orange colour and funnily enough smells of apricot which is such a lush smell.
Gillete staing care leaves skin feeling really soft (even though it irritated after a while my legs felt brilliant) and well hyrdrated. The gel guide the razor along amazingly and is so soft it means there is no nasty cuts or nicks to the legs and other areas. Which is perfect.
You can buy Satin Care in a large standard botlle for about £3 or you can buy a travel sized one for around £1.50 which is great for taking away it is small and compact and lasts such a long time definaly a winner.
I bought this on a one off as my skin had become alittle bit dry, and i usually just use shave with the water as a protecter. i used this the once and although scent was nice at first it did become abit sickly after awhile.
It is very thick at first so you only need alittle bit but it sticks well to the skin so you dont turn around to see clumps dropping off into the bath.
After the first use my skin became alot more rehydrated and alot smoother then normal. It was alot less irratated aswell.
The shaver glides straight through and the excess on the razor just drops off rather then leaving slimmy residue on the blades as i found this happens alot with cheaper gel or foam.
Over all this has become a firm favorite of mine and has converted me from a dry shaver to a gel shaver.
The only thing about this or me is the smell its not really for me, but i have over come it as once you use this you feel like you have really pampered your legs
I always thought that shaving gel was shaving gel, and the price tag attached just reflected the brand name or fancy container but after trying this 'Radiant apricot satin care from Gillette for women' I have to say I was pleasantly suprised.
The gel foams up really nicely, yet it keeps a good consistency and doesn't go all watery, enabling you to get a really close shave. You only have to go over the one area once too, so its much better for sensitive skin.
It goes on really well and it stays on quite well too, giving you enough time to actually shave before being washed away!
It leaves your skin feeling really silky and nourished, something that I find a lot of cheaper alternatives lack.
The scent is said to be 'radiant apricot'. It definitely has an apricot smell, but more fruity in general really (maybe thats the radiant bit!)
The fragrance is nice but it doesn't last after you've washed it off, although by the time you put shower gel and moisturiser on after, I dont think many shaving gels scent would last!
The product comes in 2 sizes: £2.93 for the full size can (200ml) or £1.95 for the travel size can (75ml).
I wanted to travel light this holiday so got all the travel size toiletries, I have to say though, for a product like shaving gel, the 75ml size really isn't big enough for more than a week. (I should of known this I know!)
For a weekend break etc, I really like the idea of it coming in a smaller size, although its not cost effective, sometimes its handy just to have all your favourite products without the bulky bag!
I was very impressed with this shaving gel. It gave a really nice close shave, didn't go all watery and wash away and it left my skin silky soft.
Although it is a little more expensive than some own brands, in my opinion it is worth it.
I wouldnt say Im converted to only this product but I definitely would only buy a proper brand in the future.
The 'radiant apricot' is part of a wider range of gillette for women Satin care products that include many fragrances and sensitive gels.
