I discovered Gillette Satin Care Shave Gel Radiant Apricot recently while shopping in the toiletries aisle of my local supermarket looking for a moisturiser for my dry legs. As I was scanning the shelves this bottle caught my eye, I love the design and the use of pink and orange together gives you that feeling of warmth and radiance and I could imagine my legs glowing after using it. I think Gillette have achieved good branding for this product as the name along with the packaging works well together and you can almost smell apricots just by looking at it.

I had never used a Gillette shaving gel before and didn't really think there would be any difference to other brands I had tried previously. Although this product was more expensive than my usual brand I decided to give it a try. From the first time I used the gel my legs felt smoother and my skin was soft and no longer dry. You only need to squeeze a small amount onto damp skin and rub it all over the area you are going to shave, it lathers up brilliantly and smells great but is not over powering. The can lasts for a lot of shaves.

This gel is so rich and thick that it does not make a mess and comes of your legs only when you shave. I found that I could shave a lot quicker without the worry of cutting myself as the gel seems to help the razor glide smoothly over the contours. Shaving was not helping my dry skin and it had become a chore for me to do but now I actually look forward to it and I am proud to show my legs again as they are glowing.

Overall this product is rich and luxurious and although slightly more expensive than shops own brands it is worth it as this acts as a moisturiser at the same time so much so that I don't have the need to apply a separate moisturiser to my legs anymore and my dry skin is completely away. I would recommend that you try it for yourself, it comes in a handy travel size if you don't want to buy the full size first time but I bet you go back for more.
