I really hate buying razors they are so expensive and I begrudge paying over and above for them. I always go for a cheap option within reason! I had a horrendous experience with some Bic super cheap razors so I tend to err on the side of caution. I cam across these razors in Tesco as they were on offer 2 for 1. A packet of four razors costs £3.56 so 8 for this price was a real bargain. The razors come in a plastic packet. The front of the packet informs you that the razors have 3 blades. On the back of the packet it advises you that the blades have a lubricating strip which moisturises your skin and enables the blade to glide smoothly over your skin and also ... I've been using Gillette's razors for women since I began shaving, as I just love their products, they're so good, safe and relatable and are defiantly my favourite brand, but recently I lost my current razor (don't ask me how!) and needed to buy another, with a much smaller budget, and after looking at a lot of own brands, I noticed Gillette Simply Venus Disposable Razor, which had 4 razors in a pack, and thought this has to be my best bet at getting a fairly cheap razor that is still really good. I abandoned disposable razors in my teens as the products were usually flimsy and weak and often left me with irritated skin and nicks and cuts. It was therefore with some trepidation that, ten years later, I realised I needed to buy a disposable razor to take on a weekend away. The reason? The last time I'd been away I left my £8 Venus razor in the hotel room! If I didn't buy something disposable, this was going to end up costing me a fortune! It might be an old wives tale but my mum always told me that we raven-haired ladies had tougher hair than blondes and therefore a good quality razor was needed to get a decent result.
