I never used to be a fan of disposable razors and therefore stuck with using hair removal creams and an electric ladyshave. Then a few years back I bought a Gillette Venus razor with changeable blade cartridges and have been a fan ever since. Since then, Gillette have introduced a few more razors to their Venus range and I have been quite happy with all of these, my last purchase being a Venus Embrace. I buy the replacement cartridges for these razors but now and then there will be a promotion for a new razor with a couple of cartridges included and it was one of these promotions which led to me buying my latest Venus razor: Venus ProSkin MoistureRich ... Having a descent razor is very important for me and I don't mind spending a little bit extra to get one that I know will do the job properly. If I'm wearing shorts or a skirt I always put a bit of instant tan on my legs too as they never tan as much as my arms and just look weird. If I apply instant after using a cheap razor my legs feel so painful and you can see lots of red dots all over them. I always stick to the Gillette brand as it is well known to provide a good quality product ... Read the complete review

As a 20 year old student, my social life can be pretty full and I am a real fan of wearing dresses and skirts whenever possible really! I like to make sure that I can stay feminine and be able to flaunt the legs that I train hard at the gym to tone! I've never been much of a fan of electronic lady shaves because in my opinion they don't leave my legs any where near as smooth and soft as I would like them. I'm also not a fan of hair removal creams, I find they them cumbersome, messy and they often leave an unpleasant smell once washed off. As a student I can't afford to pay for regular leg waxes, and wax at home kits have been somewhat unsuccessful for me. ... Read the complete review
