King of Shaves are a reputable brand in the world of shaving and i have used many of their products before, including shaving gel, shaving oil, after shave balm and moisturiser, so when i saw that they were bringing out a razor and launching it in the competitive world of shavers, I knew I would have to give it a try.

I have to shave every day for work, so I feel like I am qualified to talk on the subject. I have used Gilette for most of my shaving life, from Sensor, to Sensor Excel, to Mach 3 all the way to the most recent Turbo charged battery thing (what a load of rubbish!)! i could never really find one that got close enough.

I dallied with the Wilkinson Sword Diamond Excel shaver and to be fair this was a good razor, marginally better than the gilette effort.

But I think that this Azor is a really good blade, better than its competitors. Now I use Origins pre shave gliding oil and their shave cream and find that the Azor is great at giving me a really close shave. i have used it for about 4 months now and have yet to cut myself (touch wood!).

It is also a lot cheaper than its competitors, another bonus. Think it is about £4 for the blade and that gives you three replacements.
