~Razors - the battle of the sexes!~ ************************** For some reason hand held razors seem to be marketed either towards women or men when you look into purchasing them, with almost nothing being on the market that is aimed at both groups, yet in todays ' hair free' rather than 'hirsute' society there seems to be no reason why anyone cannot buy many of the simply made basic hair removal razors that are on sale as they all do a similar job. I feel that if the price is right and the hair removal item of choice seems to fit the bill there is no reason not to give it a go, which is in part how I ended up with a number of the stylish yet hard to ... I have owned my Azor for a long while I recieved it to test as it was very new when I got it. I think I sent a text after seeing a promotion in a newspaper and I have to admit that Gillette may have to relinquish some of their market dominance. The razor is extrememly light, which at first seems strange and I was questioning as to whether it was doing the job. I did prefer something more substantial to hold, but there are no comprimises with regards to quality of shave. The blades are easy to change and are somewhat cheaper than other competitors' blades which makes a change. I think the cost of blades is ridiculous, whensets are on offer it can even be cheaper to buy ... Read the complete review

my husband uses this razor and he loves it he says it is the best razor he has ever used , and he has used a lot of the recent main brands as he has sensitive skin and they all would make his skin sore after use but this one he can use as many times as he likes and he never gets sore or gets a rash from it , he says the blades last a lot longer than the leading brands and are cheaper by far , the rest of the range of king of shaves is brilliant too as he uses the oil at times too , i can definatly see a different in his skin since he started using this razor he always seems to look clean shaven now as there is no rash or soreness , he has said he wouldnt change ... --Background-- ************** Rather unusually for this type of purchase, the thing that first attracted me to the King Of Shaves - Azor razor, was the price of the replacement blade cartridges. My ususal Gillette Razor the M3 Power, (which im in all honesty fairly satisfied with other than cost of blades), cost around £1.95 per blade, and the Azor's come in at around £1.22 per blade. Which is quite a considerable price difference. That, and the fact the Azor head unit im reviewing here (with 3 blades) cost only £4.88 (at time of writing) made this package seem an absolute bargain. I have to admit, that I was slightly nervous ... Read the complete review

Like me, I'm sure that most men will agree that when you find the right combination of razor and shaving cream, you don't deviate for love nor money. My facial skin isn't what I'd call super-sensitive, but for years, if I ever deviated away from the combination of a Gillette razor and the Gillette sensitive shaving gel, there would be hell on (translated as spots and stubble burn.) Earlier this year, disaster struck when Gillette decided to revamp its range of foams and gels, leaving me without my regular shaving gel and, worse still, my skin seemed to hate all the replacement versions. I quickly concluded, therefore, that if my loyalty to the brand were to go unrewarded Read the complete review
