I have always waxed my upper lip and find that waxing works really well for me but it does get expensive. I was complaining to my best friend about the amount of money that I spend on waxing and she recommended this product. I was reluctant to try it because I just didn't want to take any risks with my face. She insisted that it worked as well as waxing although she did warn me that when you first use it it leaves your skin feeling less than smooth. What swung it for me was the price. At £5 for a bottle that she said lasted her for at least six months I couldn't afford not to try this.

==What it's supposed to do==
This Nair product is made specifically for facial hair meaning that it's more gentle than other Nair products. Nair do say that you can use this on other sensitive areas but I only used it on my face. Nair claim that hair will be removed from below the skin and leave skin feeling smooth.

==My Experience==
I followed the instructions precisely for this product, I didn't want to risk leaving it on for too long. I applied it evenly and generously, I left it for three minutes, checked a small patch as recommended and then left it for the two additional minutes before rinsing it. I have dark hair that can be quite thick so before I used the product I soaked my face in hot water as recommended for tougher hair. When I removed the cream I found that the lighter hairs (the ones that don't bother me anyway) had gone but the darker hairs were still there. Not only did this product not remove my hair it left my skin feeling terrible. Far from leaving it feeling soft my skin felt rough and just horrible. This feeling lasted for a couple of days. It didn't look red or irritated fortunately but touching my upper lip was unpleasant.

==Recommended?==
If you have lighter hair this product mightr work for you but it didn't remove the majority of my hair and it left my skin feeling horrible so this is a product that I most deifnitely do not recommend.
