... nicely between the two in that it is a nice rich foam that seems to combine the qualities of foam and gel in use. It has Aloe Vera which I have always liked to use in skin products and it leaves you feeling nice and fresh It doesn't clog the disposable razors I use and in applying it, you do actually feel as if you are doing your skin some good. You don't need very much of the stuff as I am at pains to explain to Lady Bellroyd, who likes to use too much of everything! I am pleased she has a nice slim pair of pins,...more

Palmolive Sensitive Shave Foam: A little present from her for me.......for really for her! (564 words)

Does any other bloke out there get items bought for them by their partner that are not really for you but for them? Well, this can of shave foam falls into that category. It's a while since I used shaving foam; a lot of the time, with only a light beard growth, I just lather up well with ordinary tablet soap and that provides sufficient soapy lubricant to get the job done to a reasonable standard. Anyway, my wife decided that she needed some shave foam to do her legs in the bath and because at the time, I didn't have any shave foam in the cupboard, she decided she would buy me some with the weekly shop so that she could 'borrow' it. I wouldn't have ...  Read the complete review

Sensitive shave which is also sensitive to your wallet (439 words)

When I started shaving, many moons ago, I remember being quite excited as it felt new and of course a tell tale sign that I was growing up and becoming a man. It became apparent quite quickly that I have very sensitive skin and I was noticing that after shaving that I was continually getting shaving rash and very angry looking skin. I tried various brands of shaving foams from the big brands like Gillette and right down to supermarket own brands without really having much success. It was then I discovered Palmolive sensitive shave foam, the first thing I noticed was, as part of the branding it mentioned the word, "Sensitive". This was ...  Read the complete review

Palmolive Sensitive Shave Foam: A Foam That Helps Your Shave Behave (223 words)
by - written on 26/03/09 (Very useful, 82 readings)
Rating:

This is a shaving foam designed especially for sensitive skin that I use when I have a wet shave using a razor. I currently shave with a Gillette GII Plus shaver which is a twin bladed razor but I have also used the foam with a single, triple and quadruple headed razor just as effectively. The foam can be bought for between 89p and around £1.39 depending on the retailer. This is for a 200 ml can. I recently paid 89p in the High Street cosmetics and personal care products shop Savers. 89p is cheap. You can pay £1 in many shops for far inferior shaving foams that are often thin and watery and that do not adhere to your skin properly and evaporate ...  Read the complete review

Palmolive Sensitive Shaving Foam (282 words)

When I choose a shaving foam I prefer to buy a brand that is fairly reputable without having to spend a lot of money if possible and Palmolive is ideal as they are a relatively well known brand but at the same time their product does not cost the earth. A 200ml can of their sensitive shaving foam is currently priced at 78 pence on the Tesco website which is I feel extremely brilliant value and you can find it for around the same price mark in stores like Wilkinsons. I very much like this product, it is easy to dispense from the can and even if you shave every day one of these would last you at least a month which is fantastic for the price. I like the ...  Read the complete review
