I purchased mine last year for around £9 but I am not sure if it was form Amazon or not - I could not find it in my purchase history.
I bought it as it was inexpensive at the time and I needed a replacement for my old one that had ceased to work.
Being a female I do not need to shave every day (thank goodness) but I do need to use hair trimmers form time to time. Thanks to my mum I now have a mole on my chin that likes to sprout the odd hair so I need something that will remove it quickly and safely. Hair removal creams are not recommended for moles so at one time I was using little disposable razors. However I am not really happy using those on my face so this little product proved ideal.
There is a small trimmer for noses and ears - but I have not needed to use that.
The 'narrow hair trimmer' works fine on my face and also I find it useful to use on the back of my neck as I have short hair and the hairdresser never seems to tidy up my neck as I would like.
However I now find the mini foil shaver the safest and best for using on my face and also I have even been using it on my underarms and it works quickly and easily with no nicks or scratches.
I have no need of the two clear plastic comb attachments but these do have 4 different settings each as the teeth can slide in and out so in theory give you eight options in length. Apparently you can achieve cutting lengths from grade one all the way up to eight, measuring from 1 to 10 millimetres (mm) and 12 to 18 mm.
I know a man's needs of such a tool is different form a womans but as this was so reasonably priced I think it is really good value. I still have the original batteries in my machine and it also comes with a black stand and a small brush to clean out the razor - especially useful for the one with a foil cover as you can clip the cover of and just brush out any hair inside.
My son now has one for his sideburns and other body hair but I have kept mine hidden in my bedroom so he didn't realise I had one so bought his own.
