I'm also shocked that other reviewers have rated this so low - its a fabulous product!

I bought this after I'd started getting my bikini line waxed regularly and had noticed ingrown hairs starting to appear - not attractive. I bought it off the internet (Amazon) and it cost me £11 at the time.

It was actually a recommendation from a friend and I'm thrilled I took her advice.

Packaging:

The product comes in a clear plastic bottle that is smoked to look like glass. It has a matte silver screw on cap and once open you can tip the product out from a small hole in the cap.

Product:

The product is clear and marked on the bottle as flammable and reeks of nail polish remover. I know, it doesn't sound like something you should put on your skin but really, don't be scared. The product actually contains salicylic acid, the key ingredient of aspirin and derived from the bark of the willow tree. Its a great healer.

Use:

I used it on a cotton bud, by just repeatedly dabbing it only on the ingrown hairs. It rapidly thins the skin, allowing the hair to just pop out and preventing the scarring you'd get from poking around those hairs with tweezers like I'm always tempted to do. You can also dab just a little bit on spots anywhere on the body and it helps them heal really fast - be careful on the face though as its strong stuff!

Effects:

It kills the top layer of skin cells, and if you use too muc can cause rathe large areas of dead cells, but if used carefully it really helps those stubborn ingrown hairs pop out quicker.
