I really really should have known better than to buy a packet of disposable razors for just 13 pence. What on earth was I thinking, clearly I wasn't thinking and they somehow ended up in my trolley in the supermarket. Well now they've ended up in the bin, and I certainly won't be making that mistake again. I bought the Tesco Everyday Value disposable razors, you get 5 disposable razors in the packet, and they cost just 13 pence - for the whole packet of 5!! When you compare this to the price of other disposable razors such as Gillette or Wilkinson Sword then you think that you're saving an absolute fortune. You're not saving a fortune believe you me, as these ... Read the complete review

Now I have a decent razor, I don't tend to use disposable razors like my partner does but recently I had run out of blades for my razor so had to use one of my partners razors. He normally uses quite decent razors but had purchased a pack of Tesco Value razors just because he had liked the price. Disposable razors are generally quite expensive so when he found a pack of 5 Tesco Value razors for 13p, he decided he had to try them and he was very pleased with his cost saving. Such a saving though should have rang alarm bells in my opinion, but as I was going out that night and wanted to shave my legs, I had to go with what was in the house as I didn't have time ... I like to have a nice underarm and leg shave with my husbands razor, but with the constant threat of being caught I decided to buy my own. I spotted these disposable razors in Tesco priced at 13p for 5 and being super tight I had to have them. The packet looks good with nice grooming pictures in blue. We're told that they're 'Everyday Value 5 disposable razors'. The razors themselves are okay, they have twin stainless steel blades and ridged plastic handles which are a bit flimsy but strong enough for what I want. The heads are about an inch or so wide, but that helps getting in the under- arms. The blades have a clear plastic safety cover over them which ... Read the complete review

I usually spend about £6-£8 on a razor, preferably a mans one as I find they last a little longer and can be better. I was staying in a BnB for a couple of nights when I decided to try these to save bringing my normal razor back with me. The plan was to take one of these and leave it there and I wanted something cheap to do this with. I grabbed a packet of these razors in Tesco, 13p for five. I know it's super cheap and wasn't expecting a brilliant, moisturising shave from them but if they did the trick on one or two occasions, that'd be 13p well spent in my opinion. The five razors come in a white plastic bag With the tesco logo on and basic ... Read the complete review

I have in the past used Bic razors and even as I cringe while writing this, I have to admit that the disaster of using that did not put me off buying Tesco's own brand razor. Was it the 13p price tag.....Yes it was. I was more than prepared for the slicing, the bleeding and the rash that was to follow. The packet itself is relatively pretty, brandishing the Everyday Value - Tight fisted buyer alert logo; it holds 5 disposable razors and had razors in different shades of blue on the packet. After opening each razor is blue in colour and has a plastic clear covering over the blades themselves. I was not overly optimistic about how my legs were going to turn out ...
