This shaving gel has become a regular purchase of mine whilst doing my shopping at Tesco, mainly because it is excellent value for money. Like most people I tend to shop around a lot more these days, and am not particularly loyal to brands of most items therefore can save a lot of money by choosing the cheapest or the ones with best offers. This shaving gel is a bargain. It costs around £1 and in comparison to the other shaving gels on the market it is considerably cheaper. The bottle is purple (which also matches my bathroom colour scheme - always a bonus), and it has a click on lid. To use the shaving gel you just press the button on the top, and it ... I've been using this Tesco own brand shaving gel for a couple of years now, after trialling it for Tesco Home Panels and loving the scent and also the soothing effect it had on my skin. I also use other brands, but this is one of those cheaper alternatives for when the shopping budget won't stretch to a branded shaving product. It comes in an attractive can which is exactly the same as the one in the piccie above, I love the purple tones of the can and think it looks much more feminine that a lot of other brands available. And even more feminine than when I pinch Marks shaving foam, something I don't do often as I get told off for leaving the can in a drippy ... Read the complete review

This Tesco satin Feel Shaving Gel has been a permanent resident in our shower for the last couple of years since trying it out for myself. I have always used good old fashioned shaving to get rid of unwanted hairs on my legs, underarms etc. I have always been very happy using the plan bic sensitive razors, however, I would always pay a little more for some decent latherig shave gel, but I don't really have to since finding this. This Tesco shaving gel comes in a 200ml container and usually costs just over £1, although Tesco frequently have it on offer for £1, during which times I stock up. The product itslef is a pinky purple colour, with a similar ... Read the complete review

I usually use shower gel for shaving my legs, but do tend to get through quite a lot of it for this reason. In a money saving attempt, rather than opt for a cheaper shower gel, I decided to try this shaving gel. I had used similar products in the past, and knew that a little goes a long way with this stuff as you only need to squirt a tiny globule onto your hand and it turns into a huge mass of foam. I hadn't bought any shaving gel for a while though, as I remember it being quite expensive for something that I then classed as unnecessary when there is shower gel in the bathroom already. However, when I came across this Tesco version for just £1 on a recent ... Read the complete review

I tend to flip between using shaving foam/gel and using soap or conditioner, only using the former when it turns up in the shower! On first sight, the smell of this shaving gel is very sweet, and 'wild berry' is the perfect description of it! The tin is nice and attractive, if a bit simple with the only graphic being a cherry. The gel is a light purple colour, and when you press the top it shoots out (like most shaving gels!). It's here that I get to my first criticism; the shaving gel is far too runny for my liking. It doesn't go on your legs very well and doesn't stay put, it tends to slide down. I also found that the lather or foam that it produces is very ... Read the complete review
