I've been pretty lucky recently in that I haven't had to buy much shaving gel/foam, I've had lots of trials from various survey sites and to be completely honest if I've run out of it I just use hair conditioner mixed with bubble bath rather than buy it (mainly because I never remember to buy it while I'm in the shop, the realisation that I've run out only hitting when I'm standing in the bathroom with razor in hand). It was because of a joke comment by my sixteen year old daughter that I tried the Tesco Everyday Value shaving foam, after she spotted it in our local Tesco Express and thought it was the funniest thing she'd ever seen. Joke's on her though, after she ... Read the complete review

For a long time I have shaved my legs and underarms using lathered up shower gel but after coming across this very cheap shaving foam in Tesco I thought I would give it a shot. I have bought a few things from the Tesco Value range before and had mixed experiences. I think with basic food like rice or pasta it does tend to taste a little cheap but if you are on a budget then it is a great way of cutting costs. If I have a little bit more money I'll avoid it and opt for something that tastes better. I've not really had much experience of their cosmetics other then their cotton wool which is actually rather good so I was keen to try this shaving ... Read the complete review

Introduction: I have tried all different types of shaving, but my favourite still has to be the razor. Nothing comes close to the finish you get from using one. My electric shaver is good, but leaves me feeling rough and not as smooth as proper shaving. I like to use shave gel like any other person. Recently I went on two holidays, one to Mallorca and the other to Tenerife. I wanted to take something along with me that I could leave out there after using so I could bring back as much alcohol and prezzies in my bag. I saw this on the shelf at tesco and thought it was worth the try. To price was a real bargain and that is why I picked it up. I figured I would ... Read the complete review

My husband had a job interview to prepare for a few months back and seeing as he'd ran out of his usual stash of Gillette popped off to the shops the night before to buy some new supplies, returning back with this. I was surprised he'd bought it as it looked very cheap; a white canister with a red banner round the bottom and a no frills Tesco Value stamp of approval. The cap is also a white, flimsy type of plastic that is typical to these cans. The spray itself is a straightforward spray. To get best results I would recommend shaking it up to work up a bit of a froth - or else it will come out like Angel Delight on your hands ;)! - Using this ... Read the complete review

I like a wet shave and use different brands of shaving foams and gels. I had not tried this one until recently and I thought I would buy it to see if I liked it or not for the very low price. It is a cheap one and I wasn't too sure if it would be suitable or not but since it was dead cheap, it didn't matter if it wasn't suitable. It comes in a tall can, it has a pull off top, it is very basic looking and in the usual colours of blue and red of the Value range. It has a good sized nozzle. For a 250ml can, it was priced at just 34p, so very cheap indeed. I could not believe the price when I saw it. The foam is white in colour and it is has an ... Read the complete review
