I have been using at home waxing kits for a while now but i recently seen this in poundstretcher for £3.50 for a 125ml bottle which i think is pretty good value. It says its easier to use than the wax with a spatula and after using it a few times i can agree that it definately is. I think its best used for your legs as because its such a large area its easy to make a mess and waste a lot of wax. This wax is water soluable so its not as messy as the wax used in salons and the strips can be used again and again, you just have to wash them.
This is a roll on and as long as the wax is at the right temperature then it glides on easily. To heat up you just take the lid off and put in the microwave for about 45 seconds. If the wax is too warm there is a temperature indicator on the back that will come up to let you know that its too hot to use yet. When its cooled down enough, you put the lid back on and slowly turn it upside down a few times to get the wax moving. Then you just apply the wax going from your knee to your ankle and the wax will come out. The first time i did it it was a really thin layer of wax and i didnt think the strip would stick to it. But it did and it worked just as well. It uses the minumum amount needed so there is no waste. Its really good at getting even the shorter hairs and unlike getting waxed in a salon, you dont need to wait 8 weeks if you dont want to. The end result is just as effective and doesnt take long when you get the hang of it. Your legs are left just as smooth.
Iv found that the roller is just a bit too big to use for smaller areas like the underarms and bikini but its ideal for using on your legs so its still good value for money. It comes with 12 reusable strips which is enough to do one whole leg before having to rinse and dry them and it says there is enough wax to do two half legs twice. If your not too sure about using a pot with a spatula then i highly recommend you try this as it does all the hard work for you with no mess. The last ime i went to a salon to get waxed they used something similar like this to do my legs so even for a professional, this must be easier to use.
I usually go to a salon to have my legs and bikini line waxed, which is expensive so i am always looking for hair removal systems that i can use at home. I do shave in between leg waxes sometimes, and then grow the hair. I bought this veet warm roll on wax because it looked professional and i followed the easy and healpful instructions to a t. ( the temp sign on the back of the applicator is very useful). I rolled the wax downwards on my leg as described and very quickly placed the strip on top. then, holding the skin taught i pulled the strip back to reveal - nothing. it hurt a bit, a little bit of wax was left, it was a bit red, and NO HAIRS were removed at all. after five more goes on different areas, i gave up and shaved. Im gutted because it wasnt cheap, and it was totally useless.
