      Very helpful

Use with the Aloe Vera wax strips for soft, smooth and hair-free legs!

Product: S.O.S. Aloe Vera Post-Depilation Oil
      Producer: Yves Rocher
Price: Full price £9.50 for 100 ml (make sure you get a 50% or 2-for-1 offer, they usually have them)

The post-depilation oil is ment to be used after waxing, to soothe the redness after removing the hair and to remove any wax residual left by the wax strips (or by the type of wax you use). The aloe vera also relieves the irritated feeling of the area affected.

After waxing your legs or bikini area the skin gets red and hot. Also the strips tend to reave small amounts of wax on the area from the edges of the strip. This is why I tried this product.

I simply pour some oil onto some paper or cotton and wipe over the affected area. It does remove the wax bits, and soothes the skin. Also, I find the redness dissapears faster when I use the oil, than when I don't. The smell of the oil is faint, which I prefer to some of Yves Rochers very dominatingly scented products. Even though I use quite a lot of oil, the bottle still takes ages to finish, which is good.

The drawbacks with the oil is that, well, you pour oil onto your legs (or other parts). It's difficult to sitt on a sofa, or go to bed, or really do anything, before it sinks into your skin, and that takes a while. The best is really to just put on a pair of old trousers that don't mind getting a bit oily, and save the furniture that way.

I definatelly recomend you use this oil after waxing your legs. Despite the small drawbacks it does really helt, it soothes the skin and makes it less red and even softer. It's definatelly worth it if you are waxing your legs, to optimize the effect.
