**Introduction and reason for purchase** I've had straight hair all of my life and whilst this is the trend these days I came in for a lot of stick aged 13/14 when all the girls in my class at school were having spiral perms, which were the 'in' thing in the early 90's. I've experimented with different hairstyles over the years though mostly I've stuck to having long hair with plenty of layers as this seems to suit and flatter my shape of face the most, but finding hair stylers to achieve a natural look without my hair being too poker straight hasn't always been easy. I'm not against straighteners at all, though my hair needs some body as I have a lot of ... Read the complete review

I had this Babyliss Beliss styler for Christmas a few years back, and at first I wasn't too sure that it would get any use. Still like anything new I had to give it a go almost straight away..... I say almost because I had a huge pile of pressies to get through first!! I went upstairs and had a bath, washed my hair and got dried and dressed, I then plugged this nifty little hairdryer in and got to work sorting out my hair. At first I didn't quite understand what the four different setting were for, then I realised that you could set the tension of the straightening plates according to your hair type, as my hair is quite fine I always used them on ... I treated myself to these in July this year, spending £24 at Wilkos for them. I had short hair for many years, but I've been growing it for the last two, and its turned seom smooth and sleek into a complete nightmare - frizzy, easily tangled, and dry . I decided I definately needed something to help sort my hair out, and these were the ones I chose, for the simple reason they were fairly cheap and I dont have a lot of money. This is kind of a three-in-one product - it dries, brushes, and straightens tour hair all at once- or at least, thats the idea . Its a sort of plum colour, with a black cable that plugs in at the mains . The cables a ... Read the complete review

I think this is a blooming great product as i have to tong or straighten my hair on a daily basis, i find this product fab. I bought it from Tesco for £25 which it first came out, I rushed out and bought it. To be honest i was expecting something different to what i got. The babyliss system consists of a hair dryer, big bristle brush and straightener, so yes the product is noisier than a normal hairdryer maybe its close to my ear or something (No i dont have big ears...lol). It has three settings medium heat, high heat and cool. My hair is thick and it works with all hair types. It does a good job at lengthening my hair at the roots as i am ... Read the complete review

The BABYLISS AIRSTYLER's main selling point is that you're killing two birds with one stone; you're drying your hair & styling it at the same time. A great time saver when you're getting ready for work etc ** It's lightweight, easy to grip & has three different heat settings, allowing you to choose the best setting for your hair type. The instructions are really easy to follow. The styler's head has nine ceramic comb's in it, to de-tangle and straighten as you dry. There is also four 'grip' settings for the combs, allowing you to pick the best tension for your hair type [the thicker your hair is, the lower the setting ... Read the complete review
