Everyone seems very familiar with the GHD brand - and it is easy to justify spending this amount of money when they are compared to other products available. The quality of these straighteners are easily superior to cheaper models!! They heat up to an amazing temperature and the ceramic plate mean that you get a very smooth finish...and hair never seems to snag how it inevitably does in the cheaper models. These give a fantastic finish with naturally straight/wavy hair and are the only ones I find that work for curly hair, in so much as when I have used cheaper models in the past, my hair always seems to end up wavy by the end of the day/night out...this does not happen with GHD's...the finish lasts.

I also find the quality of the straighteners themselves exceptionally high...I have one 'for men' pair and one standard pair, and they've both lasted me over a year without losing any of their finish...this simply would not be the case for other models which I've replaced repeatedly in the past.

It is also worth noting that the 'for men' label is not completely accurate, as they are not only the easiest to use for girls with very short hair...but they are also the best by far to use when curling long hair with them...simply twist as you straighten for perfect ringlets. Beware men...your wives/girlfriends/sisters/mothers will want to use these as much as you do!!
