My last boyfriend bought these for me, so I am not too sure how much they cost, as I always think it is pretty rude to ask how much they spent. I was bought these quite a few years ago now. I was never one for straightening my hair back then, as it is straight anyway, so I did not see the point in wasting money to straighten what was already straight.

So when these were bought for me I was a little bit apprehensive about using them. The straighteners were pretty basic, pink in colour, with a black lead, that was pretty long, just long enough for where I needed it to go. The straighteners are really simple to use, there is an on/off that you just slide to turn them on and off. There is no different temperature settings, so as soon as they are on you just leave them to heat up.

I found these took around 30 seconds to heat up to the right temperature, and they did get pretty hot. Once heated the straighteners just glide though your hair with ease, and when I thought I had straight hair, these proved me wrong. I found my hair got even straighter than before and it looked shiny. It did look a lot tidier than it ever had. And this soon got me hooked on using these straighteners.

Every time I went out after that I always straightened my hair first. And with these been really good, and straightening with one glide of the hair it would only take me ten minutes to straighten my shoulder length hair, so I was well impressed, as it did not take too long.

I would not use these on wet hair, as I have done this myself when my hair has still been a little damp and it made a sizzling noise, which I doubt would be any good for your hair. So make sure you dry your hair properly.

I would recommend these to buy as I never had any problems with them, I stop using them when I got my GHD's and they have now been misplaced, but they were still in good working order when I misplaced them.

      Really good straighteners!

I received these as a gift after my last hair straighteners broke, so I was eager to try them out. I have naturally rather wavy hair, which is very thick - so I often need something to tame it.

They are very fast to heat up, going to 210C in just 30 seconds, which is great especially when you're in a rush. My old straighteners took much longer than this, so having them heat up this fast really is lovely in a morning.

After sectioning my hair and spraying on heat protection spray, I started to straighten my hair. Although it is very thick, just running the straighteners over each section once was plenty for beautiful, straight hair. It only takes me about 20 minutes to straighten all of my hair using these, and the results are really nice.

They leave my hair looking gorgeous - smooth, sleek and STRAIGHT! This lasted all day and I found that even the next morning it was still looking pretty straight!

They are also very good value at just around £20 from most places - a BARGAIN for how good they are!

I really do recommend these - they heat up very quickly and are really good.
