... dial inside the legs of the straighteners which is numbered 1, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 although i'm not sure what these numbers are supposed to stand for except that the higher number you have them on the hotter the straighteners are.
The straighteners do take a couple of minutes to heat up which was never a problem to me but it seems compared to straighteners around now this is a long time, there is a red light on top of the straighteners which flashes when they are heating up and then stays on when they are up...more

This was the very first pair of straighteners I ever had, they were bought for me by my Mam and she paid about £40 at the time but this was a couple of years ago now. The straighteners are a silvery grey and black in colour, they are made by Revlon and the Revlon name is on the top of them. The plates are ceramic and black in colour and above the plates on the outside of the straighteners there is a soft felt like piece of material which I presume is to make them glide through your hair easier.
