Babyliss 2123U Root Boost Micro Crimper
Advantages: Good price and does eventually work
Disadvantages: Time consuming and difficult to use
When I saw this product I was so excited! I have very thin, limp hair that tends to just hang there and I'm always looking for ways to get more volume and height in my hair. I thought it was a good price for the root boost so I couldn't wait to use it.
I had very high expectations and was not very impressed with this product at all. I found that because my hair is so thin- you can see the crimp that the root boost makes- and this does not look very nice at all. Also it's quite difficult to use as I found it very hard to get the root boost right up to my roots and often ended up with a crimp lower down in my hair than I would have liked.
Also, I found it to be very time consuming which is not ideal for anyone with a busy lifestyle.
On the whole, if you have a lot of time to style your hair everyday then the root boost may be for you- however, if like me you're looking for a quick fix for thin lank hair then this probably is not fir you and you should keep searching.
Summary: If you have lots of time to style then this will work
