Advantages: High heat, glove to prevent burns, long lasting curls.

Disadvantages: Culrs not as nice and pretty as on the box

Having tried and tested a range of curling products, this I have to say is the first that curls my hair AND the curls stay (with the help of a small amount of mousse and hair spray). Setting the scene, I have thick, uneven waves in my hair and I am an obsessive straightener.

I own a range of curling products, all of which have been pretty useless. I purchased this Babyliss curler based on reviews that I had read (I own another Baybliss curler that does not work on my hair). I was desperate to achieve that loose sleek curl look everyone seems to be sporting at the moment and to have a break from straightened hair.
Although the curls I achieve with this aren't as neat as the curls that everyone else has (and all the pictures show) it does leave me with curls that last (and everyone else comments on as being lovely). The Babyliss Hairstyler does reach up to 200 degrees similar to that of the GHD straighteners. The only draw back to such a high heat is when you burn your fingers. However this is much rarer than with other curlers I have used due to the magic of the glove that comes with it. This is a black glove that you put on the hand that is not holding the curler. Beware heat will still go through it if you hold your hand on it too long. The curlers have two heat settings but I have to admit I have never used the lower one due to having such untameable hair.
The cable is of a reasoanble length so you can maneuver the curlers around with ease. It comes in a lovely sports red, which to be honest has no bearing on the performance but it's nice to have a bit of colour in our lives.
When I first started using these curlers they weren't the easiest to get to grips with. It did take some practise to curl the whole of my hair and get the curls to not start half way down my head. However, now I have mastered it I would definitely recommend this product. The results are even better if I can rope in a friend to curl my hair for me.
Although on my unruly hair the curls are not perfect, definitely the best curler I have used.

Summary: The best I have tried so far
