I decided to buy myself these Babyliss curlers just before Christmas because I wanted them for party season over Christmas-New Years to style my hair with nice loose curls. I opted for these curlers as the heated barrel on them is quite large, which means my curls would be really loose and more natural looking.

How to Use
These styling tongs are used much the same as any other tongs I have used in the past. You simply turn them on, wait for them to heat up, then when they are ready to use take sections of your hair and wrap them around them, hold the for a minute and then release. This should give you really nice loose curls.
I don't like to put any product in my hair before curling, though after wards I like to just spray over my curls with hair spray to keep the curls in place but not make it too sticky.

Heat settings
The thing I love about these styling tongs is that it doesn't take them absolutely ages to heat up, they are ready to use in just under a minute.
There are 4 different heat settings on these styling tongs, they are, 155oC, 170oC, 185oC and 200oC.
I usually like to turn up the heat to 200oC so then I can curl my hair quicker, though it is nice that I can opt to curl it at a lower heat level if I want to.

The Tongs
These tongs have a large barrel that is used to create big, loose curls that make your hair look lovely and wavy and give a more subtle look than smaller, tighter curls. The barrel is made titanium-ceramic, which means that the hair doesn't snag as much due to their smooth surface.

I found using these tongs quite easy, though they are a little fidgety at first, I quickly got used to them.

These tongs seem quite sturdy and are great quality compared to some other tongs I have bought in the past.

Results
I love the curls that these tongs create, they are lovely and loose and look quite natural and pretty, perfect for a night out or also I like to wear them during the day when I want to feel a little dressed up and nice.

Like many curling tongs, the curls created won't stay in your hair unless you keep some product like hair mouse or hair spray to keep the curls from falling out of place.

Price and Availability
These curling tongs are available to buy in quite a lot of shops and also online, I bought mine in Currys for around £16, though I am sure if you shopped around online you could get them a little cheaper. I am quite pleased with the quality and performance of these tongs and think that they are definitely worth the money that I spent on them.

Overall
Overall I am pleased with my curling tongs, they give lovely effortless curls and are pretty easy to create, whenever you get the hang of it. I would recommend these curlers to anyone who would like the loose curls, but it might be worth noting that these curlers may only really be suitable for people with longer hair, because the barrel is quite large and it could be difficult to wrap shorter hair around them. Overall I would give these tongs 5 out of 5 stars
