I was bought this babyliss hair styler for mothers day as I've wanted a big curling Tongue for a while now. I have quite fine hair and I wanted to try and create a big curl effect with plenty of volume.

At first I found these really difficult to get the hang of, I'm so used to curling my hair with Straightners now and seeing instant curls. I found that even with having fine hair I had to use the tongues on the highest heat an keep it in place for at least 5 seconds to see any sort of curl, it was exactly the effect I wanted. However I found that after an hour or so all the curls had dropped out I would probably just be left with a few flicks at the end of my hair. My hair would still look like it had quite a lot of volume in it but it definitely wasn't the orginal look I'd had in the beginning.

I think that this product is best used for creating volume and maybe a little curl/flick at the end of your hair, a sort of Holly willoughby style but definitely not if you want full on curls.
