I had been using a round barrel brush for a while to build volume at the root of my hair but the longer it got the more flyaway and limp it was starting to look. My hair always looks nice when I straighten it as it has a natural wave to it, but I didn't want to straighten it every day because of heat damage, and I didn't have the time. When it comes to combs and brushes I am very much a Denman fan. I own loads of the products from that range and never actually really dabble with anything else, until a mate bought me this brush for my birthday. I wanted a new hair brush recently as my last one was looking a bit worse for wear. I got this hair brush from TK Maxx so I only paid about £3 for it. I cant remember what the recommended price was, but I think about £6-8. This is quite a large hair brush so I use it at home and I don't take it out with me in my hand bag, as it would take up a bit too much space as I prefer something smaller and more portable when going out, and it cannot be folded down or anything, but for home use it is great.
