I discovered Arran Aromatics Lavender Hand Wash in a rather lovely place. If I say it came along at exactly the right moment I am not exaggerating as I was driving up to the Outer Hebrides from Essex, which is a journey of 18 hours or so. Added to this it was wintertime and there was snow and ice on the roads, so I stopped off at Tyndrum, which is a small village north of Loch Lomond for a comfort break. This stopping place has the rather attractive name - "The Green Welly Stop" and it always has the best cared for toilets in the vicinity.
