I much prefer hand washes with pumps over a soap bar. The idea of all those germs collecting on soap bars really doesn't appeal to me. I guess the same could be said for the top of soap pumps but then you wash your hands after touching them anyway. The Product ~~~~~~~ This is 500ml of a fairly bright blue hand wash which can easily be seen through the clear plastic bottle. This allows you to easily see how much is left and therefore ensures you have a chance to buy some more before running out. It is an anti-bacterial hand wash which to me, means that it will help kill bacteria on your hands. Interestingly though, ASDA say that ... Read the complete review

I'm not quite sure when the transition happened, but it seems that nobody just keeps a bar of soap by their bathroom sink anymore, these days we all have a bottle of handwash! I'm not much of an individual here, I've followed the pack and also have one, albeit the cheapest I could find in Asda that wasn't the unfortunately unattractive SmartPrice style! This handwash comes in a pretty standard bottle, square shaped with a pump action dispenser on top. When you buy the handwash the pump is sort of depressed into the bottle and you need to twist it so that it pops up and you can use it, on this one it was a bit stiff and it took a few goes and a bit of force ... If you are familiar with any of my previous reviews, you will be aware that my two young children have both suffered at one time or another with threadworms. One of the vital, and probably the most important pieces of advice that was given to me by the chemist was the simple rule of hand washing, easy to remember you may think, not for a four year old! I started off by buying the slightly more expensive hand washes, usually geared towards the child themselves, this neither discouraged or encouraged better hand washing practises, so I decided to buy the bog standard type that I would personally use. The hand wash I will now review is ... Read the complete review

In our cottage we have a downstairs toilet complete with a small washbasin. Due to its size I find it easier to use a liquid handwash in a dispenser as conventional soap doesn't stay put and keeps sliding into the basin. The handwash that I am using at the moment, and have almost finished, is Asda Antibacterial Handwash Original. It currently costs just 55p for 500ml of handwash which you have to admit is quite a bargain! The liquid inside is a pretty blue colour and comes in a clear plastic, square, flattish container with a pump action dispenser on the top. The wording on the front tells us that this product will 'help fight ... Read the complete review

I bought this handwash from Asda a few weeks ago when there were none of the branded handwashes on offer, generally I do stock up on the likes of Radox handwash when it's on offer so I bought this just to make do with until I saw an offer on. I use handwash in my bathroom as I have a five year old daughter and I am trying to teach her about good hand hygiene however when I let her use a bar of soap she ended up having to chase it around the bathroom when it slipped from her hands. The handwash cost me 55p for a 500ml bottle and of course it is only available from Asda stores, I think the hand wash is great value and even on offers the branded ... Read the complete review
