A fantastic moisturiser that does the job well and rivals if not beats more expensive brands

This has to be the best moisturiser I have ever tried. After using this once at my mothers house on my hands I was hooked.

Made by the brand Naked, who have a range of skincare, bodycare and haircare products which are all 97% natural, free from sulphates, parabens and petrochemicals and not tested on "Bambi, Lassie or Skippy". This hand and body lotion comes in a 250ml bottle, (as all Naked products seem to) which is made from recycled material and can be recycled again.

The bottle has an invaluable pump dispenser, which makes this really easy to dispense as you don't have to pick up a bottle with your slippy hands in order to apply more like you do with a lot of moisturisers. It contains, (amongst other ingredients) starflower seed oil, which is apparantly full of essential fatty acids which help to soften and soothe skin whilst improving the signs of ageing. I can't claim to know what starflowers smell of, but this product smells amazing. It does also contain borage seed oil, lavandin herb oil, geranium leaf oil and ylang ylang flower oil which together produce an exotic, herby, slightly spicy but very distinctive smell. I can appreciate this won't be to everyones liking, and it is quite strong, but personally I can't get enough of it.

As for a moisturiser, well it's quite thick and rich but easy to apply and absorbs into your skin very easily leaving it with a velvety feel. The fragrance lasts, and so do the moisturising properties. It is Januray at the moment, and the coldest one for a long time and needless to say my skin is thirsty, thirsty thirsty. A few drops of this wonder potion, and it's left hydrated, supple and smooth all day long. The job i'm in means I have to wash my hands an awful lot, which leaves them really dry, cracked and itchy. After using this for several weeks they are no longer sore and tight, but nice and soft. I have tried loads of handcreams in the past from Vaseline to Clarins and barring the Clarins none have cut the mustard either because they didn't moisturise enough or just didn't actually absorb into my skin. I can't afford to buy the Clarins anymore, but to be honest I prefer this anyway and it's about £10 cheaper.

It also works wonders on legs, arms, bottoms, well anywhere you care to apply it in fact, and there are a couple of other varieties to choose from if the starflower scent isn't for you. I think this is really well priced as a little goes a long way, and works loads better than a lot of other more expensive brands i have tried. It's good value for money, good for the environment, good for animals and most definately good for me and probably you, so give it a try.

Priced at £3.99 in Boots, (available online or from larger stores) or from www.nakedbodycare.co.uk
