Carex Active Fresh Handwash
Disadvantages: Not a lot
Carex active fresh
I always like to have liquid hand wash in the bathroom and kitchen and tend to opt for the more well known brands. This caught my eye because it was on special offer at the time; its worth stocking up as its often on offer.
WHAT IS IT?
This soap promises to be odour neutralising and cleansing and is apparently effective in ridding hands of germs. The blurb tells me that the, improved formula uses active fragrance technology to neutralise nasty smells in just one wash. With all of this, my hands should feel refreshed and hygienically clean and with the added moisturisers they should also feel soft and moisturised.
PRODUCT AND PACKAGING...
The soap comes in a plastic 250ml bottle with the instructions and information on the back. To dispense the soap there is a pump action dispenser which has to be twisted to first dispense the soap. It does press down easily and with one press on the pump the slightly orangey looking soap comes out, and still looks a light orange on my hands. It isn't overly thick but despite this does work into a nice thick lather when I add water and rub my hands together. Despite it being antibacterial it doesn't smell at all clinical but has a sweet almost fruity smell, possibly down to the mandarins!
Simply press the pump, dispense the product and wash hands as necessary then rinse and dry. Not for use on the face.
PRICE AND AVAILABILITY...
The product is widely available in supermarkets and chemists and costs around £1 so its not going to break the bank
I like this product. Whilst I can't vouch for it being anti bacterial I can say that it smells good and leaves my hands feeling soft and clean. It also gets rid of any odours such as onions if I have chopped them, so this is good enough for me.
A recommended liquid soap.
