This is the handwash we use where I work, and in my opinion, a great choice. I wash my hands a lot, handling keys and tools and also going out on site sometimes, and I can't bear unclean hands. I probably wash my hands with this product at least 5 times a day and sometimes up to 10. Washing your hands so often, particularly in all the recent cold weather, I think it speaks for itself that I have never suffered with dry hands having used this product. I believe the moisturising properties come from the natural characteristics of the aloe ingredient. The handwash also has anti-bacterial properties which is obviously an advantage in terms of peace of mind in a busy ... Read the complete review

I was well glad when my last handwash in my bathroom finished (see my earlier review of the awful Dettol Healthy Touch Antibacterial Hand Wash) so was eager to get a well known but cheap little handwash to replace it. I was in Sainsburys doing my weekly shop some time ago and managed to get this 250ml pump of Carex Aloe Vera handwash for a mere 81p! It is a gel green handwash which kills 99.9% of bacteria and the new and improved formula works "in seconds" apparently to kill bacteria faster and so the family's hands are protected from bacteria. I of course cannot see the bacteria dying lol but I believe Carex to be a trusted brand when it comes to ... Read the complete review

In my utility room at home I have a separate sink which is ideal for me as this is where the dogs/cats bowls tend to be washed and anything else either animal related or cleaning related. Due to the nature of pets I do like to wash my hands after sorting their stuff out, feeding them, washing bowls etc so I tend to keep a bottle of antibacterial handwash handy and of course it gets used quite often. I always by antibacterial handwashes especially for the utility room as apart from having pets I also have a toddler so I want to minimise the risk of spreading anything nasty to her. Tesco as usual is full of bargains and when it comes to their toiletries a lot of ... Read the complete review

How many times do you wash your hands during the course of preparing a meal? Well the answer is a lot! I like to ring the changes when it comes to a kitchen hand wash but Carex Aloe Vera is one of my favourites. I do not like my hands have any scent on them when I am preparing food as I find that this detracts from getting the balance of the flavours right, chances are that if it smells right you are well on the way to a good tasting dish, so a waft of flowers or a blast of tropical fruit is not going to aid your little nose buds when lifting a spoonful of a lovely sauce up to your finely tuned nose! Carex Aloe Vera fits the bill as itīs scent is barely there and it ... Read the complete review

Cussons Carex Aloe vera is anti-bacterial hand wash which is an advantage in a hand wash. Only a small amount is needed for enough lather to be created in order to wash your hands. It gets rid of any dirt and stickiness effectively. The handwash is operated by pushing down on the pump and this releases the liquid inside the bottle. I did find that whenever I pushed it would release more than I wanted, rather than just a small amount, which was what I wanted to get. I had to be very careful in order to get a small amount. The hand pump is simple to operate, even though it seems to give you a default amount of handwash. The pump is also easy to unlock during ... Read the complete review
