Carex Hand Gel Sensitive
Advantages: Cleans the hands and not sticky.
When I go fishing I like to take a hand gel with me so that my hands are cleaner and to make sure that when I eat food, I don't pass germs into my mouth while eating. I find the gels are a good price for the length of time they last for me to use for fishing and for at home.
This gel is a good brand, the bottle is plastic and the bottle is quite small and only 50ml. it usually costs around £1.50, depending where it is bought. Supermarkets stock this gel and most good chemists. It is a pump dispenser and a clear gel. it is easy to just press the pump to pump the gel from the bottle.
The gel has a clinical smell to it, one that I do find not a bad smell at all. Only a couple of pumps onto the hands is enough to clean the hands. It feels wet once applied but it does dry in a couple of seconds. Means I don't have to wait too long to carry on doing what I need to do after applying it.
I just rub it between my fingers to make sure they are clean, the couple of pumps is enough to fully cover my hands. I have big hands and so for someone with smaller hands, maybe just one pump may be enough to cleanse them but for myself I need at least 2.
The gel kills 99.9% of germs and bacteria on the skin. It is for sensitive skin. So if you have sensitive skin this one would be more suitable than the other gels of Carex hand gels. I haven't got sensitive skin and so can't comment if it is good for this kind of skin or not. The gel is soft but not runny. It is a smooth gel and easy to massage into the hands. It isn't a sticky or tacky gel once it has dried. My hands just feel the same as before I used the gel with no residue on my hands.
The size of the bottle is good because it means I can keep it in my pocket while fishing. Means it doesn't weigh nothing and not bulky. It works to kills germs and give me peace of mind that my hands are perfectly clean before I eat my food.
You never know when you may need to use a gel to clean your hands if you are a person who may be ill and catch germs a little more than a healthy person. This gel is a good quality. It dries in a fast time and most of all it keeps my hands as germ free as they possible could be before eating. It hasn't dried my skin or caused any rashes etc.
I will keep on buying this gel because I like the fast drying time and the price and the size of the bottle. The bottle is a good handy size for travelling. I never go fishing without a bottle of hand gel.
I rate it 5 stars.
Summary: A good brand of gel.
