As soon as the product is dispensed into my hand I can instantly smell the nostalgic scent of strawberry laces. They have somehow managed to get the fragrance spot on! It immediately evoked old memories of my childhood when my sisters and I enjoyed stuffing ourselves silly with those delicious strawberry sweet treats. The hand wash has a nice consistency that is not too runny. I use two pumps of the bottle as re...more

When I was a child we always had bars of soap to wash our hands with. I hated using them as they have the potential to become a disgustingly slimy soggy mess. I actually can't bring myself to use them anymore. I much prefer to wash my hands with liquid soap as it eliminates this problem, and it is more hygienic too. Carex by Cussons is not a brand I frequently purchase, but they had a family favourite's range which consisted of a Chocolate Orange fragrance and a Strawberry Laces fragrance. The later sounded fantastic to me and as an added bonus the product was half price in Tesco for 90 pence instead of the usual £1.80. The antibacterial hand wash ...  Read the complete review

Carex call this a family favourite fragrance and its definitely a favourite in our house. Now that my little girl can go to the toilet by herself and can wash her hands herself I wanted to get a handwash that she would enjoy using but that was also good as killing germs. In the past she hasn't always been so great at remembering to wash her hands so when I saw this flavour of Carex I thought it would be perfect as she loves anything strawberry On the back of the bottle Carex say that, "The Squirts and our experts have created a fun antibacterial hand wash that the whole family will love to use, from the smallest to the biggest of hands, and ...  Read the complete review

I wrote a while ago about the amazing Carex Chocolate Orange hand wash I bought, so thought now would be a good time to tell you about the Strawberry Laces version which I bought at the same time. Both products are from the Carex family favourites range, which is aimed at kids, but equally loved by grown ups! The hand wash comes in a clear bottle through which you can see the bright pink liquid. The bottle is squarish but sturdy and doesn't topple over when the dispenser is pressed. The dispenser is easy to press and I don't find that it drips. Carex claim that this product will kill 99.9% of bacteria which is a plus point and although it is a hard ...  Read the complete review

I'm not normally a fan of the Carex hand washes, I'm just not too keen on their fragrances. However I've been hearing rave reviews about their 'Strawberry Laces' and 'Chocolate Orange' hand washes. Whilst shopping in Tesco before Christmas I spotted the Carex hand washes on offer at half price, reduced from £1.80 to 90 pence each, and so I decided to get one of each of the Strawberry Laces and the Chocolate Orange to try. I have to say that I absolutely loved the Chocolate Orange fragrance, and I went back to pick up a couple more whilst they were still on offer at half price. However I don't really like the Strawberry Laces fragrance, and my husband ...  Read the complete review

I recently reviewed Carex's Chocolate Orange hand wash, a product that I absolutely loved. So it was inevitable that I would try Carex's Strawberry laces hand wash too, which I bought it on offer in Tesco for 90p Carex Strawberry Laces hand wash is presented in a clear plastic bottle with a classic push down dispenser on top. The brand logo and product name are displayed on the front of the bottle. As the bottle is clear the bright pink liquid is clearly visable inside. I find the product visually appealing, bright and very girlie, although I don't think the bright pink would suit all tastes! General information is given on the Back of the bottle ...  Read the complete review
