“ Brand: Certex / Type: Hand Wash / Suitable for: Hand „
Since becoming a mum of two children, I don't think I have ever washed my hands so much in my whole entire life within a 4 year period. It doesn't stop when children are out of nappies as I find that both my children can get messy and mucky just by looking at one another. So I am constantly not only cleaning them up but myself in the process. Something that is in the kitchen, toilet and bathroom is always a handwash. This is currently in my kitchen and cost 69p for a 500ml size from Home Bargains.
Why did I buy it?
Ive used this handwash before, and the size and price is great considering so many people on a daily basis in my home have to wash their hands a zillion times, so it lasts quite awhile and is very affordable. Another important note is it's a regular in my Home bargain store, its always in stock so I don't have to worry about it not being available.
How is it packaged?
Product comes in a 500ml plastic clear bottle with a pump dispenser. On the front it says ' Certex Anitbacterial Handwash ' at the top, and tells you at the bottom what the product does.
On the back it gives you some added benefits for using product, ingredients list, general warnings, company contact details and mentions product has a 24 month shelf life when opened.
What is it supposed to do?
Can be used for all members of the family. Gentle to all skins but also sensitive ones. Helps to protect and moisturise the hands. Provides an easy and effective way of being able to clean hands thoroughly.

Active ingredient Triclosan 0.1%.
How do I use this?
I use these in any room where I need to keep hands clean, such as toilet, kitchen etc. I use one pump of product, rub into my hands and rinse under warm water.
How do I find it?
Firstly, the packaging is very basic and not eye grabbing. It doesn't draw your attention to it but its functional, easy to use and theres a decent robustness to the packaging.
The product is bright blue, so nothing understated there. Plus points to that is you can see clearly the product in your hands, plus you can keep an eye on how much is still in the packaging. Negative is if little people decide to paint your bathroom with it, or it spills all over the basin its very noticeable and you have no choice but to clean it up.
The consistency is what you would expect from a handwash, liquid enough for ease of use but thick enough to ensure thorough hand washing.
Fragrance is nothing amazing or unusual-clean, reasonable fresh, nothing distinctive about it. Very subtle. Can just about get a smell of it when washing, and a slight hint on the hands so fragrance doesn't linger.
Does clean hands very well. Not the best in regards to providing moisture, but doesnt strip any away at the same time.
Over the last 6 months my psoriasis has decided to pop up from time to time on my hands ( not noticeable but slight), and this product hasn't caused any reactions or irritations. Both of my children used this on a daily basis and it appears to be gentle and kind enough on their hands as well.
Would I buy this again? Yes I would, and I have done many times. The main reasons are the fact the size if perfect for my family and lasts a while, the cost is very affordable, easy to use for the children and kind to hands.
