I have a couple of family members with health problems that mean I have to be especially careful not to pass on minor illnesses or viruses. For that reason I wash my hands frequently, and I also seek the additional reassurance of using an antibacterial hand gel. I have used some that smell quite clinical and atrocious, and while how well they work is the most important thing for me, I thought I woud like to try a scented product if possible. When I first spotted a citrus version of Cuticura's hand hygiene gel, I was in Savers where it was on offer for just 59p for 100ml. In the hospital shop it costs more than twice that much. I decided to take advantage of the low price Read the complete review

As box secretary to our local lifeboat guild I spend time emptying the various collection boxes around the town. As you might guess my hands get very grubby indeed! I always carry a little bottle of anti-bacterial cleansing gel in my bag to just keep my hands fairly clean. I realise that the amount of dirt that I manage to accumulate means that my hands aren't squeaky clean after using the gel but it certainly does help until I can get to hot water and soap! Last time I needed a new bottle I headed off to Boots to see what was on offer. I found the Cuticura Hand Cleansing Gel at £1 for 100ml which I thought was an excellent price so I chose the ... *~*Introduction*~* Though my everyday bag is quite small one item I have to have in there and find essential is a hand gel. I find them so practical, and they tend to take up little space so always have one for when I'm on the go and have tried many brands and have yet to be disappointed in any so far. What drew me to this one by Cuticura was the fact it is still an anti bacterial gel but it is also fragranced with citrus, and though I don't have a problem with the generic anti- bac scent that normally accompanies these gels I must say the reason this appealed to me when I saw it was because of the citrus fragrance it claims to ... Now this is a must have! Today, I will be reviewing Culticura's Citrus Hand Hygiene Gel which is available to buy from places such as Wikinsons for around £1 which I think is great value for money. The bottle is very attractive. It is a cute little bottle, containing 100ml of this gel. The bottle is see through and so you can easily see the brightly-coloured yellow gel inside. The gel is a bright yellow colour. It has a very strong lemon-y scent. I love fresh lemons yet I hate any lemony- deserts such as pie or meringue which is quite weird. This smells of an artificial kind of lemon which I find to be quite sickly sweet as it is quite ... Read the complete review

I always keep a bottle of this in my bag as you never know when you are going to need it. It costs £1.32 in boots for 100ml, which I believe is good value. The bottle I have has lasted for months as you only use a couple of drops at a time. It is designed to kill 99.9% of bacteria and I think it is really useful to have on you just to ensure your hands are clean, especially before eating. It is easy to use, as you just open the cap, put a couple of drops onto your hands and rub it in. You don't need to wash it off or anything. The citrus scent is really refreshing, and makes your hands smell nice too! I think this citrus version is more interesting ... Read the complete review
