Dove is a well known brand of skin and beauty products. Their product range includes body & hand wash and lotions, hair care, lip care and deodorant. All Dove products are dermatologically tested. This is a review of Dove Rich Nourishing Beauty Hand Cream.

I recently brought this product in Boots for about £3. The hand cream comes in a 75ml tube which stands on its flip top lid so it is always easy to get the product out. The product claims to leave your hands feeling immediately softer, then go deeper to replenish the moisture within, then hold on to this moisture for 24 hours. There is a small 24h symbol on the front of the tube, to indicate it contains Doves famous 24 hour moisturizing formula, and underneath this, 'for beautiful hands all day'.
I find that Dove products always have a distinctive smell to them, and this smells much like the original shower creams and hand wash. It is a light clean and fresh smell that isn't too overpowering. It always makes me think of freshly laundered clothes.

The lotion itself is white and fairly thick. You only need a small amount, and it is absorbed quickly. I suffer from areas of drier skin so I make sure I put more on those areas and the scaly look where my hands have dried out vanishes instantly, making my hands look softer and healthier. I use this product whenever I have washed my hands or whenever my hands start to feel dry and tight and they instantly feel more hydrated.
I think for such a reasonably priced product, that this cream works very well. It is definitely good value for money, and because you only need a small amount it lasts a long time. I also agree that it does leave my hands looking beautiful straight after using. If you have very dry hands, I would recommend a harder acting product, as although the results are fast, I don't find it to be long lasting. I am giving this product 4 stars.
