I recently visited the *pound* store with the intention of buying some maltesers .However I discovered I had no cash and there is a £5 minimum spend if you use a debit card. Looking to spend another £4 on useful products I came across Dove fine silk beauty cream wash. I really like the smell of Dove products and liked the sophisticated looking plastic bottle so decided to buy!

Dove pure silk hand wash comes in a white bottle with gold detail. The information on the bottle claims that this cream wash is white orchid fragrance. It has the usual pump action dispenser. I much prefer using liquid soap as I think it is less messy and more hygienic than bars of soap.The pump action mechanism is activated by twisting the nozzle around until it clicks open. The pump action on this bottle works well,with just the right amount of soap being dispensed . When not in use the bottle doesn't drip soap as with some pump liquid hand soaps I have experienced!

The soap has a subtle sweet scent that I really like. I cant say it smell of orchid however! The liquid is quite thick and it lathers well. It is easy to rinse away and leaves my hands feeling soft and well moisturised. I only use the soap to wash my hands although it implies it is suitable for all your body including your face. I paid £1 for the 250 ml bottle and think that is really good value.

Overall I like this product and would definitely buy it again. The bottle looks good in my bathroom,the soap smells lovely and the soap leaves my hands feeling soft and moisturised.
