Essence is one of my new favorite brands for makeup and nail polish. Their products are worth checking out as they are affordable and of very good quality. I honestly wish Dooyoo had more of their stuff to review. Anyway moving on to the review!
There are a lot of cheap nail polishes out there, and most I have tried are non-pigmented or take forever to dry and chip the next day. These, however, are a great choice for people like me who don't want to spend money for expensive nail polishes. I have bought 7 colors and their price was ranging from 1 euro to 2 euros max. The shades I have are:
193 - best dressed ( a very deep purple, very pigmented with purple sparkles)
195 - you wow'd me again ( a metallic duochrome blue with a green sheen)
197 - caramel brownie ( a dark brown with silver & gold sparkles)
194 - little lila town ( a pastel lavender, slightly metallic)
164 - crazy fancy love ( a bronzy metallic gold )
173 - over the rainbow ( a very sheer baby blue, again duochrome, with a lavender sheer)
163 - hey! nude ( a sheer nude with silver sparkles and "sugar polish" effect"
They come in a standard glass little bottle, with a plastic cap. The brush that comes with is is very wide and flat, which is a must for me, because it helps the polish apply smoothly without creating lines. All of these colors are amazing for me, they go on smoothly and dry pretty fast. the two last ones are very sheer so I apply them over another polish for a nice effect. 173 is lovely on a light blue polish. Their lasting power is okay, a bit better than others I have tried, but if I wash my hands/dishes often, they chip a bit faster. I'm okay with it because I like to change my nail color every few days anyway.
Overall I recommend these to everyone who's looking for beautiful shades for their nails.
The essence colour & go nail polish is available for GBP 1.59.
The nail polish is described as follows. "colour explosion! the huge colour & go range has the beloved gel-shine finish with a highly intensive shine and an extremely short drying time for perfectly polished nails in a flash! the patented quick & easy brush is particularly flat for an even easier application. the 8ml bottle has a cool essence design – with the usual colour-coded cap in the corresponding nail polish colour."

While browsing in Tesco, I came across this brand of nail polishes. The bright pink shade 'naughty and pink!' stood out to me so I purchased it for the bargain price of £1.69. The bottle is clear glass with a bright pink plastic lid. There is an 'e' engraved into the top of the lid.
The brush inside the lid really is extra large, it is 3 times the size of a normal nail varnish. It means you have to take extra care to apply the varnish, especially to small nails, as the brush is the same width as my little finger nail. However the application process is nice and quick, and this nail polish is quick drying.
I have been wearing it for a week on my nails at the moment, and I only have a few small chips at the edges, which is less than I usually get, so it is lasting well. The colour is not as shiny as I expected, it is quite dull really which is disappointing.
This polish is made in France and there are many colours available to purchase from their website www.essence.eu and one bottle contains 0.27fl. oz or 8ml.
I will purchase this varnish again, and award 4/5 stars, as it is pretty, cheap, quick drying and long lasting, but the brush is a bit too wide for me, and the colour isnt that shiny.
