While I was funding myself through college I worked as an early morning and evening cleaner and although we were advised to wear gloves (thinking I knew better) I didn't most of the time. As a result my hands are trashed, really dry and sometimes flaky, I've been to the doctors who prescribed a steroid cream which worked wonders, but I wanted something I could buy over the counter and didn't like the idea of putting a stimulant in my body just to fix my hands.

My mum bought this cream for me from boots and it was in the region of £8.00. Which seems fairly expensive for a hand cream in comparison to others on the market, but I thought I'd give it a try because I'm only 26 but have hands like an old woman's!

Like most hand creams this one is small enough to fit in my many handbags, so it can be kept handy to apply regularly. I've found that I only need to use a tiny amount of this cream to get the desired effect (although when I've squeezed out too much it does work well on dry feet too!). The cream itself is fragrance free, so it didn't irritate my hands any further. The cream itself is white and very thick but I found that it went on quickly smoothly but until it completely sinks in my hands are left slightly greasy, this soon passes and my hands are left moisturised.

I've found that I've had to use the product less the longer I've been using it, although I still apply about 5 times a day and because I only need to use such a small amount the tube has lasted ages (2 months and going strong)

My hands are noticeably less dry and are feeling much softer, I've actually taken to wearing gloves when doing my housework at home to try and protect them from getting in really poor condition again.
