I received this hand cream recently as a gift and I have to say I was a little unsure of it from the start as I am not a fan of ginger at all! But of course I was happy to try it out...
I am not familiar at all with Naturally European products, but they are available from Oliver Bonas. A 75ml tube of this hand cream costs £6.50 from this particular retailer, and also comes in other fragrances such as rose petal and verbena. It contains shea butter and, according to the website, the scent is "a delicate balance of two worlds united".
The cream itself comes is housed in a silver-coloured tube which is housed in a cardboard box and the packaging is really nice, making it an ideal gift. It looks expensive and quite a luxurious brand.
The cream is pure white in colour, and the second you squeeze the tube you can smell it - and I have to say it really is the perfect balance of ginger and lime as you can detect both in equal measure. The cream is incredibly rich and thick and I find you need very little - if you squeeze out too much it can take a while to rub in. But a little goes a very long way and this really moisturises hands well - although it does have a very slight greasiness to it I find.
In terms of the scent it really is very unusual - I have never used a product that smells quite like this! And although I don't really like the scent of ginger, I find that the lime tones it down nicely and actually makes this quite a pleasant and unique fragrance. But although I don't mind it, I would definitely opt for a different fragrance if I had the choice!
In summary ...
Overall this is a really nice hand cream. The packaging looks luxurious, the cream is rich and really moisturises the hands, and the scent is pleasant and very unique. Although it is a bit on the expensive side, a little of the cream goes a very long way and I think this tube will last me for many months. I would say this would make a lovely gift for someone.
My one reservation is that the scent may not be for everyone - and is probably not one I would choose again.
