      A good hand cream

      Guerlain super aqua hand cream

Super aqua hand cream from Guerlain is probably best described as a youthful effect hand cream, which will provide effective relief for very dry hands while keeping them protected from the elements with an added SPF 15. Like the rest of the super aqua range this hand cream contains dessert rose extracts, which among other revitalising and hydrating properties provides a beautiful and subtle rose fragrance. The fragrance of these products in this super aqua range is one of the reasons I love Gurlain's super aqua skin care range as much as I do.

The hand cream itself is very rich and does need a good few moments for it to settle into the skin and get fully absorbed into your hands, so don't use this when you are running out the door. The hand cream both feels and looks luxurious and initially it does feel a bit too thick, but with a bit of patience this goes away and you no longer notice anything but revitalised hands. This is very good for really dry hands as it does give a long lasting moisturised feeling. Even after you have washed your hands you can still see and feel the effects of the hand cream, it still leaves you skin feeling smoother and more hydrated even hours after the initial application.

Personally, I don't use hand cream on a daily basis but I do like to have it handy for those moments when I need it the most and this hand cream is a great one to have around. Even after using this for only a couple of days you can see an improvement in the condition of your skin and my hands feel much better and feel super smooth.

I often use this sparingly on my feet and elbows, especially since these areas have been on show more often lately thanks to the lovely weather. This hand cream works great on any areas of dry skin.

Although this is an initially pricey product, typically retailing for £34 for a 75ml tube, it will last for a long time. With this a little does go a long way and unlike some of the cheaper hand creams where you have to reapply it several times a day, I find that using this only once gives me the same effects.

The packaging is simple and fits in nicely with the rest of the range, if I had one complaint about this product it would be that for the price I would expect something a bit more special from the container.

Definitely a four out of five stars, this is a very nice hand cream but it is a pricey purchase, which does make it a great idea for a gift or a special treat to yourself or a friend. This provides a little bit of pampering for any hard working hands.
