... and inside is a lovely thick cream that is chock a block with essential oils and smells divine. The smell is the first thing that I always notice about this cream as it has a really sweet smell and almost smells as though it should be eaten instead of being put on your hands. It smells of marzipan and really is delicious smelling. The cream itself is lovely and thick and feels really luxurious when you put it on your skin. It absorbs really nicely and although it feels a little greasy it leaves my skin feeling sil...more

I love hand creams. I have so many hand creams, but I only use some of them. I use the Lush Smitten Hand Cream every night before I go to bed to make my hands nice and soft. -About the Product- Smitten is made by Lush, a very popular store that makes hand made products, and is against animal testing. They have a range of products, including bath bombs, shower gels, shampoos, conditioners, massage bars, body creams and lip balms. Lush products are generally quite expensive, but it's sometimes worth treating yourself to something nice! Smitten is a hand cream that is designed for using during the day to keep your hands soft. "One touch and you're ...  Read the complete review

I always seem to end up with dry skin on my hands and feet so I find that hand and foot creams area must buy part of my beauty routine. My absolute favourite has to be L'occitane shea butter hand cream but as this is on the expensive side I usually only buy occasionally as a treat. Lush is one of my favourite shops and I find that most of their products are fabulous and most of the hand creams there are no exception. I have two favourites when shopping there for a hand cream this and lemony flutter. The smitten hand cream comes in the black plastic tubs that lush like you to recycle and inside is a lovely thick cream that is chock a block with essential oils ...  Read the complete review

Lush Smitten Hand Cream: A rich hand cream (342 words)

As I have said on my other reviews I love Lush products and will try nearly everything. I have used this for a number of years. This cream comes in a black pot which contains 100g of cream and costs £6.70, it is classed as a lush retro product so it can only be bought online. Lush describe the cream as being made with natural oils, calming chamomile and beeswax to protect the hands from extreme weather or nourish them when they need it most. The ingredients are listed online as; Chamomile Infusion (Matricaria chamomilla), Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis), Marigold Infusion (Calendula officinalis), Organic Cold Pressed Flaxseed Oil (Linum ...  Read the complete review

My lovely friend bought me lots of Lush goodies for my birthday, included in this was a pot of Smitten hand cream. Although my birthday was back in April, I have only recently started using this as I was using up other creams first. Smitten is an almond scented hand cream, which comes in the standard black Lush pot with a screw top lid. On the lid it says "One touch and you're smitten." and I'm told that this is an "Instantly effective, deliciously scented, almond hand cream. Wear it all day, every day." The pot is 100 grams in size. I love the smell of almonds so my friend had made a good choice with this one. When take the ...  Read the complete review

Lush Smitten Hand Cream: Not so Smitten with that One. (451 words)

I have never been convinced by Lush body care products, but decided to buy this hand cream because the two main ingredients were almond oil and chamomile, the closest France has got to baby oil. My mum always used on me and my sister and swears by it. So if its good for baby skin, should be good for me isn't it? However, I have a mixed opinion on this one. Texture: This is the main problem of this cream: as it is oil based, it gets absorbed very very slowly... Which is a big problem for a hand cream: you has 20min to spare not using their hands at all?! Apart from that the texture is smooth and easy to apply, just be careful to only use a very very ...  Read the complete review
